Former first lady Melania Trump has slammed Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, for never putting her on the cover when her husband was president, in her first interview since leaving the White House.
Fox Nation host Pete Hegseth raised the topic in his sit down with Melania, noting that first ladies Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton have all appeared on the cover of Vogue and that Vice President Kamala Harris got the honor even before she was sworn in.
“They’re biased and they have likes and dislikes, and it’s so obvious. And I think American people and everyone sees it. It was their decision, and I have much more important things to do—and I did in the White House—than being on the cover of Vogue,” Melania said.

“ That doesn’t sound like “slamming”.
It’s not. Not in any way.
Oh my lord! That’s one messed up ugly thing. Wow
That sounds very reasonable and accurate. I don’t think she “slammed” Vogue.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I wondered about Melania “slamming” anyone. Did not seem likely given that she’s a lady with a capital “L”. They love to hype the drama and drag this lovely woman down. Why even ask such a question in the first place except to make Melania look bad.
That’s how I feel too. I’ve been on FR for over 20 years now, so I’ve seen it all. But it’s been really bad lately.
Of course, so has everything else. I think the shutdown broke us.
Not only what you say. but this is a case of the ugly being jealous of genuine beauty. Melania is too much woman for any of them. She walks into the room with these lewfty VOGUE hans and its as if the sun came out after a long grey day.
Melania Trump radiates. And the left can’t stand it.Not only that, she is not a ghoulish baby killer like the VOGUE baby killers.
Maybe we will be fortunate enough to see Melania once more in the White House.
Yup.
Does any normal human being still read Vogue?
Nope.
Its irrelevant.
Looks like a Capitol denizen from The Hunger Games.
Maybe it can compromise.
That assist sectary transwoman is available!
In 2016 I was employed at Macys. Immediately after Trump was elected I watched in disbelief as they removed the Ivanka Trump clothing line from the displays.
Funny, you should know better! The FR way does not include clicking click-bait or reading articles. :)
Yes indeed. The wit and wisdom of early FR is sorely missed. There remain the occasional bright light, made brighter by the dim wit of most posts.
It would be good to regain the splendor of yesteryear. To do so would require silencing the dunders, dunces, and didiots, a task too arduous to attempt.
I don’t read or look at the magazine. They can put Donald Duck on there for all I care
She needs to accept being totally outside the corrupt deep-state-media-complex as an honor.
I’m glad they were too woke to make millions off her beautiful image. Their loss.
she dint slam anything, she politely b!tchslapped her...
Yep. It’s unforgivable, this will be noted in history as a turning point in the devolution of the US. And no, I’m not being sarcastic.
I don’t think she brought it up. Hegseth did. She answered as mildly as she could without ignoring it altogether, which would have come across as truly resentful.
“they removed the Ivanka Trump clothing line from the displays”
Wow. Now that is petty.
In business to make money, but choosing to lose money because of a grudge.
Yes, reading the headline I thought Melania made a mistake, bellyaching about Vogue. As a former super model she should be far above that. Sure, Vogue had those previous old scolds on the cover. I personally would have taken that as grounds for being happy they never put me on. Who wants to be numbered with a couple old retread women and a tranvestite? 4
