Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) believes the Pentagon knows more than what they’re saying following the latest secret briefings on UFOs.
“There’s an arrogance in government at that level that we cannot handle what’s going on out there,” Burchett said Monday as a guest of News Nation’s “On Balance with Leland Vittert.” “It’s a bogus cover-up. It doesn’t fit and it’s about power and control,” he continued.
Burchett has joined lawmakers on both sides of the aisle seeking to apply pressure on members of the Senate Intelligence and Armed Services committees after disappointment in their latest data collection efforts.

“I don’t trust the Department of Defense to get this right since leadership there has always been part of a cover-up,” Burchett said.
Burchett is a member of the House Transportation Aviation subcommittee and represents a district where there have been numerous reports of UFO sightings.
“It is clear from the public evidence that we don’t have full control of our airspace. That’s a national security issue and it’s also unacceptable,” he added.

Heheh, even better than Miley Cyrus at half-time.
For the record....LOL
To what extent are they covering up black programs and to what extent have other countries found holes in our air defenses, which would also be classified into non-existence and given a cover story like ... aliens.
I was just kidding around in my post #9. In all seriousness, I have not yet formed an opinion on the matter. But I do remember something my late father said. “I’ll believe in UFOs when one in them is a guest on the Johnny Carson show.”
I guess that’s a moot point now that Johnny is off the air.
Yeah, the crowd would be like, “Oh wow, this halftime show is OFF THE HOOK!!!” But the absence of Beyonce’s gigantic a$$ whirling in everyone’s faces would be confusing.
The thing is that this phenomenon has existed and documented since the 1940’s, long before we could even dream of developing the technology. Still think it was human technology back then?
That said, Navy pilots who are dealing with these things daily (in some cases) say they exhibit behavior and performance characteristics which defy our present understanding of physics. This is now also coming from scientists in and out of government.
Prof Garry Nolan of Stanford for example.
In a world where the FBI and the CIA spy’s on sitting Presidents and rig’s our elections the UFO thing is so blah. Who cares about UFOs?
So the spaceman says to the general, “take me to your leader.” The general hesitates, then says “we don’t really know who that is, but if you get behind the Easter bunny you can talk to Joe.”
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. No one has provided convincing beyond a shadow of a doubt proof.
All of the UFO’s are explainable, except the experimental aircraft... It’s better to leave them as UFOs; no explanation is necessary, smart move by the the gov’t......
Not to you, at least.
And "proof" of what, exactly? No one seems to know what we are dealing with here.
It's something invading our airspace (in military training areas and around nuclear facilities), but a clear definition of "it" has not been presented (to my knowledge).
There is an important clue.
The flying objects are unidentified. That means that they are unknown as well.
Uncertainty is always ok except to those who insist on certainty in all things
agreed, but even experimentals must follow newtons laws. Some of the purported UFO’s supposedly do not, therefore they are fake or sensor malfunctions. There is no ‘super technology’ or alien explanation, except on Art Bell.
I refer you to Ben Rich.
Look it up.
He took over Lockheed Skunk Works after Kelly Johnson retired.
Yep. Familiar with what he said. Strange.
I suspect they’re about to announce that the ‘Ghost of Kiev’ was a UFO!
Why is it that many people think physics as we know it is absolute. As if the human race knows absolutely everything there is to know about science.Earth is but a tiny speck of dirt in this great universe and to think we know and discovered everything is absurd.
Finally.. proof that these things DO NOT EXIST because Magnumm44 says so.
That’s all I needed.
Exactly. In the absence of fact anyone's opinion is equally valid, including those who are hard core skeptics like myself.
