Ordered Eleanor's VF=11 Plant Food online. Received Nothing! Buyer Beware Buyer Beware.

I have been using plant fertilizer Eleanor's VF-11 for decades on plants, both indoors and outdoors. I like it because it is effective almost immediately and best of all, it does not burn the plants so easily, the way most fertilizers do. Since the Covid era began, this particular product has been near impossible to find in retail stores.

I went to the website for Eleanor's VF-11 and ordered one gallon for about $25.00. My money was accepted on April 5th, 2022. I received a Receipt of that sale and told I would be contacted when it shipped. Since then, nothing. Zero communication from the seller.

I wanted to get some estimate about how soon it would be shipped. The website directed me to a page made for the customer to request info from the company. Funny thing is, that page will allow you to write your question, but does not allow one to SEND anything. There was a contact person named, with her own email and phone number. No response to either. I can't figure out why getting basic info is like I'm a Dentist trying to pull teeth. It's as though someone is determined not to help any customer's out.

Two weeks ago, I finally went Old School, and wrote a physical letter to the company office in Morgan City, California. Still no respone at all. I have since moved any email to JUNK mail, just so I can remove it from my mind. What happens will happen, at this point. It does me no good to stay bent out of shape about it. It's looking as if this is a fake website and I got taken for the $25.00. Just letting my FRiends here know about that possibility, since many on here are also home gardeners.

I have purposely left out certain info, such as names and phone numbers, because I don't know how proper it is to post such as part of my complaints. Let's hope the 'real' wholesellers of Eleanor's VF-11 provide a new batch to the stores asap. Happy Gardening.

Why don’t you just reverse the charges on the card you used for online payment for non receipt?

Did you pay with a credit card? If so you can report it and start an investigation and get your credit card refunded.

I dont do any business with a web site that doe snot accept credit card (like the ones that only do debit or bitcoin) as the are like scams.

It’s tough not to find the stuff you’ve been using. Frustrating.

I’ve had a good fertilizer source for 25 years but it’s hydroponics (commercial not hippie) purposed. Crop King in O.

Amex will refund for no receipt. Use it for everything. BJ’s TV they would take back. left it a the store and got my amex refund.

That was my Lesson #1. from this experience; I used a Debit Card. Debit Card charges cannot be reversed or cancelled.
Imagine my surprise. I should have already known.

I'd go back on their site from someone else's computer and place a huge order. Before payment tell them you have a question and need to speak to someone about delivery or something.

Might actually get someone on the line.

Yes. That’s how I see it.
Over a lifetime, I have wasted far more than $25. Dollars in other ways, far less practical in intent.

For decades, Clark Howard has said that Customer Service is actually Customer No Service.   Customer Service was created to placate customers into feeling they are being helped when they are not.
