So-called “progressive” elites love to attribute everything-- from differential outcomes to climate change-- to Racism. Everything must be examined solely in the context of Racism. The conventional wisdom amongst them is that all white people are Racist. And that there is nothing they can do about it due to the color of their skin! CRT and the 1619 Project are in. The entire Western canon is out. Anyone who dares to challenge the new conventional orthodoxy is promptly and universally smeared as a bigot, and a Racist. And that person will be accused of trafficking in microagressions and hate speech. Even for the slightest unintentional acts of presumed affrontery.
Alright, let’s talk about Racism. Microaggressions, too. I say a study is needed to determine why movie-villains have almost always been portrayed as white people. Whether it be The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Egghead from the Batman series, Max Zorin (Arayan superman), Dr. No, Auric Goldfinger, Alec Trevelyan, or Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond flicks, it’s always the same: the bad dude- or dudette in the case of Poison Ivy- is white. What’s up with that?
The Master, Rassilon, and other unsavory characters in Britain’s Dr. Who series are also Caucasian. Hell, its “Black Guardian” character is even white.
Then there is the “Wolf of Wall Street.” Okay, that movie is based on a real person, but still…you get the picture, right?
As for television…well, almost every evil character is a white man, often a businessman. And pretty much all the dumb ones, too. Even on television commercials men are continually made to look like incompetent, bumbling, ignorant fools, people who couldn’t possibly figure out how to properly scrub a toilet even if they could be made to do so.

I have been watching a You Tube Series by a BritishHistorian/Author/Journalist named Simon Webb. After only a few of his videos, I was amazed to find the Brits have the same problem we do. Too many white people. Or so it seems.

Back in the days of 1960’s James Bond movies, all of Hollywood movies were segregated with whites only. Same thing with super hero comic books. Sixties western TV shows. And today there is a slanted news media. The media is not honest. Hollywood is not honest. Most politicians are not honest. Hypocrisy appears to be a human trait.

Around 1492, which is a handy date, “whites”, that is western Europeans, started wandering around the world wlly-nilly, picking anything and anyplace they could get their hands on.
This went on for the next 500 years or so. In the process very nearly the whole world ended up under European domination in one way or another, and absolutely everyone on earth was profoundly influenced by European culture.

Who we are comes from a compellation of our experiences even from an early age. My first encounter with blacks was at 5 years old. My mother would say good bye to me and I would walk down the block to school. Every morning there was a group of 5 or so black kids who were 8 or 9 years old, who would threaten me, steal my milk money and warn me not to tell anybody. As a result I stated walking the long way around the block to avoid these boys. Does that make me a racist?
Because Whitey won’t sue for the unjust, racist portrayal of Whitey as violent and racist.
Other groups, burdened with severe insecurities, get mad when they are justly portrayed as violent and racist.

As humans, we are constantly evaluating our environment and drawing probable conclusions based on our prior experiences. These experiences may have happened to us or we may have hear about the antidotally.
When I meet somebody new, I instantly build a wall between us. Based on my prior experiences and my instantaneous perception of that person, that wall may be very high or very low. As I get to know them, the wall either gets higher or begins to come down.
If I see a two pit bulls coming down the street, snarling and bearing their teeth, my reaction will be very different than encountering a golden retriever. But as we know from here at FR, pit bulls are not at all viscous and very loving dogs. (Oh man, ya had to go there.)
Am I a racist?
The Des Moines Register no removes the race of people who have committed crimes. Started late last year.
They wanted to not create negative stereotypes. Erasing the truth is their solution.
