I once heard the story of a girl, who at age three, declared “I’m a boy”, and with that declaration, her mother jumped to the conclusion that her daughter was a transgender boy, and at age three, started making accomodations for her daughter to be treated as a boy.
I don’t know what to make of all this “transgender” business. But I just think, there’s a world of difference between an adult going to get treatments and hormones and surgery, and children being treated with counseling and hormones and in the worst case, surgeries on their developing bodies.
