I hate power windows! They can go down in the winter but not back up...
The headlights on a friend's Caddy are so expensive... he will be a long-term padiddle when one goes out.

“My co-worker just spend $225 to replace ONE BULB on her Acura”
My 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Supercharged HEMI V8’s headlights are sealed HID (High Intensity Discharge) units, with turn signal and running lights, costing $650 each plus labor, and don’t allow a single bulb replacement.
Damn, I miss using a Philips screwdriver and redplaceable, cheap bulbs.

Most headlights are now LED, they will probably outlast the car.

Speaking of headlights, why must all car manufacturers use cheap plastic headlights that turn cloudy and obscure your vision after a few years? Bring back glass.

Spark plugs you can reach and change yourself.
Stereos and A/C controls you can feel the buttons on and make changes without looking at a screen. (Though listening bluetooth connected through my phone does away with that problem on stereos using voice commands.)
Leg room in the back seat while still having plenty of room in the trunk.
Factory supplied car jacks that actually lift high enough to change a tire without having to tote a brick or two to put on top of the jack.
Metal door openers that don't break from too much use.

I miss foot dimmer switches.
I keep driving my nearly 20 year-old truck and pamper it to keep it as my wife does her 16 year-old Lucerne to keep the Northstar V-8 and relative simplicity of the vehicle. Combined, we drive less than 7.000 miles a year now.
I can still do most things on both vehicles even the Cummins.
Why does anyone need a computer in a car? You’re supposed to drive it.
Buying a new car is painful enough. I dread it even more now. Sliders in big trucks were the way to go, is there an equivalent for cars now?

What I really miss? Keys WITHOUT BUILT-IN FOBS! I want to be able to carry three keys in my jeans pocket without looking like I’ve stuffed a revolver in it!

Of course the headlight problem really has nothing to do with the light itself, but with the design of the front end. Too much stuff crammed in, doesn’t matter what form factor the light is, it’ll still be behind all kinds of stuff and hard to get to.
I like power windows. I like being able to open and close all 4 windows from the driver’s seat. I never have a problem with them.

Speaking of headlights, the 1948 Tucker Torpedo had one on each side plus one in the middle. The middle headlight would turn when the steering wheel turned.

Not-Power Windows Crank windows.More reliable than power windows, much finer control over movements, and I don’t have to turn the ignition on to use it.In flood areas this simple option/change would save a lot of lives...
