I miss wing windows.

You mean the vents you could open to scoop up a massive breeze while going down the highway? Yes, those were great. Not aerodynamically great, but you could keep cool on the hottest day without A/C.
Bring back bench seats.
My ‘92 Toyota pickup had them, no AC. Along with manual locks and windows.
I never smoked, but I miss the wing windows too!

Oh, yea! I loved those. You could catch a nice breeze as long as you were moving.
Yes, bring back wind wings! And the high/low button on the floor for the headlights. Do they still have those? My turn signal handle thingee has so many functions . . . I sometimes turn the windshield wipers on by accident while tooling down the road on a sunny day.

Agree. Modern cars are aerodynamically designed to be driven with the windows up. If the side windows are dropped while driving a harmonic buffeting is created that’s very irritating. And, it’s difficult to eliminate even by diddling with other windows so to get the cross flow in sync. Pain in the @$$.
Yes. I guess that's what I call 'vent windows', the little triangular windows on the 'A' pillar which you could crack open to let fresh air in.
I also want to vote for the floor mounted high-beam switch which you could stomp on to control the high beams. There is so much crap on the steering column now that it is easy to activate the wipers or lights by accident. Let's have a pull-on dash board switch for lights again.
I have wing windows on my ‘79 VW bug. Also it’s a convertible. With the top up, those wings bring a lot of air into the cab.
Crank windows, manual trans, no power anything, but real easy to work on and parts are still available.
Funny one, I pulled up to a red light and a couple of high school boys pulled up next to me. One of them asked me what kind of car it is. That vehicle was last made 43 years ago.
AKA butterfly vent windows.
Yep! Wing windows AND the floor vents.
My first thought as well. Cheaper than air conditioning on mild days.
