A Target worker put customers who leave stuff in aisles on blast in a viral TikTok video.
The worker, known as Kaitlin Sonday (@kaitlinsondae) on TikTok, often posts about her job as a Target employee and has about 19,000 followers.

“On Blast” huh?
Ohhhkay.
Bath “bombs” or bath balms?
I always help them out by putting it back. Especially the chicken.
She looked at me like I was out of my mind! The store security guy watched me the whole way thinking I must be pulling some sort of stealing scam? But no. I removed it from a shelf. It's my responsibility to put it back like I found it or pay for it.
She has a point, when it comes to perishables, because that’s a straight up loss for the store.
I worked at Target. When it was in Canada and it was not a big deal with me in finding out of place items, because I’d either return it to its location or give it to customer service.
But perishables being left out is a different issue.
I’ve found steaks in the dairy section, at least they put the steaks in a refridgerated section.
One of my best buds is a store manager for one Target location which makes a LOT of money for the company. This is normal. He showed me the 46 VIDEO TESTS you have to pass just to be an employee lol. One of them was “discrimination” and it starts with a video with “Paul” narrating “jim in the office called me a fag, what should I do?” with corresponding options.
I know a lady who works at Target. When customers leave frozen foods out, or leaves them at the checkout counter because of a change of mind about purchasing them, Target throws them away.
I have no idea of what that means. Don’t do that ChiComm crap stuff.
They’re not stealing. They just don’t know what to do with the stuff. Once upon a time there were enough employees to go through and pick up abandoned carts and items, but there aren’t enough now...so that’s the store’s problem.
People don’t think they’re doing anything wrong, they think it will be picked up and reshelved, and if the stores are upset...why don’t they get more employees assigned to the aisles, designate a place to leave things that people have realized they don’t want, etc.
Most people are pretty cooperative, in my experience. But you have to help them to know what to do.
Would you quit abusing the news forum with chat material?
“As of Sunday, the video received about 290,000 views on TikTok.”
As of Sunday, the Chinese government has about 290,000 extra people to spy on 🤪
I find items on the floor all the time and watched people roll over them with their carts. I try to pick them up before some lazy-assed person does roll over them with their maxed-out; food-stamp supported groceries, and break apart the packaging. Usually, it is those who don’t even speak English who don’t give a fish about anything but when they will get their next welfare check.
Bombs. I only know this because my sister likes me to buy her LUSH bath bombs for her birthday.
And to hell with everyone in line behind you, right?
XD.
Well, first off Paul, stop holding your hand like that. Next, move the earring to your other ear.
XD XD
You know this chat crap you post belongs in Chat, not News. Are your Zelensky pom poms at the dry cleaners or something today?
She had plenty left to scan yet. But if you need to go there, yes. It’s long hard work stocking shelves. How would you appreciate people turning your work to crap?
Don’t do that. No one wants to purchase an item you’ve been carrying around all over the store
