The last time I was at a checkout I realized I had the wrong version of an item I wanted. I told the cashier I would run to the back and put it back. My fault.
She looked at me like I was out of my mind! The store security guy watched me the whole way thinking I must be pulling some sort of stealing scam? But no. I removed it from a shelf. It's my responsibility to put it back like I found it or pay for it.
