[history]
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A man who was arrested Tuesday night after being clocked driving more than 100 mph on Interstate 95 in Brevard County said he was showing off for his girlfriend, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 7:36 p.m., troopers said 19-year-old Angelo Donnelly was observed attempting to overtake a vehicle in the left lane of northbound I-95 at mile marker 186 in Melbourne, kicking up debris from the shoulder and nearly colliding with the vehicle he was passing.

I’m sure she was impressed, but not by the driving, more by the arrest.

So if the girlfriend was following in another car, and he wasn't losing her in the dust, then SHE must have also been speeding like crazy too.
Did they arrest her?

Dude looks like he has an extra chromosome or two. Too bad the Special Olympics doesn't have a category for driving on the shoulder.

Would have been funny of the girl was more impressed with the Officer, and ended up with him.

Without the gf’s picture we can’t tell whether it was worth it or not. Looking at him, though. Probably not.

Is that wrong. I didn’t know about this rule. I knew y he speed limit in the lanes is 70 but is there a posted limit on the edges of the road? I think not. I have never seen a shoulder speed limit. Not guilty due to vague rules, no signage and selective enforcement. I can definitely understand that 113 mph would be wrong but come on now.

We all know the the furthest left lane on the interstate is for good drivers. That’s why 75% of the traffic is in that lane. So the left shoulder must be for great drivers in a hurry.

This is one case where I’d be in favor of turning the camera off and tuning this idiot up.

“...nearly colliding with the vehicle he was passing.”
__________
Uhhh...this happens so often in certain parts of NJ, one is obliged to barely notice it. Is it news when the sun emerges from behind a cloud? No harm, no foul, one is essentially forced to conclude
Now, if he DID collide with the vehicle he was passing, then he is BOTH a crazy driver, AND a crappy driver, it would be worth one’s time to call him out and pour forth public scorn upon him. No risk of being tagged a player hater in that situation. Dude has no game!

He is wearing too big of a hat. The right sized hats are on the seat next to him.

I would not hire you at my comedy club, if I had one, since you don’t have any sense of humor.
