It boasts millions in funding from donors and foundations, hundreds of “hubs” across the country, and thousands of volunteers. Yeah, like I posted, this org is for the brainwashed young ones. You talk to them and they are very very very worried about having to live on a blazing HOT planet 20 years from now. While I and FReepers are worried about Vlad’s invasion going nuclear. And what the CCP is up to, including new virus releases and taking over Taiwan and their TSMC chip maker.

I don’t know why in the heck anybody cares what they say or do, much less lets them influence public policy. But then this is a world that believes that men can become women just by saying so.
“Climate loons” is a perfect name for them. As far as eco stuff goes, I am much more bothered by discarded plastic bags that foul up our waters and our coasts. And that birds and animals swallow and die from. These bags also producing, as they break down from sunlight, microscopic size plastic particles that are everywhere
My first worry is our own Deep State/globalists. Second is China. Vlad defending his country was our creation.
I think, rather than hunger strikes, they should just hold their breath until they get what they want.
If one consciously observes one’s surroundings, the amount of litter is astounding - well beyond plastic bags.
I live in a college town which naturally dominated by leftists; despite all their rhetoric/bumper stickers about saving the planet, they have their slobs and plenty of litter too. I go to a nearby school track to run. Occasionally I’ll pick up the litter from other users. Within 3 days, litter appears again. Add used CCP virus masks to discarded plastic bags - they are everywhere except in the trash can.
The leftist power groomers is the real story here.
The article starts out painting a picture that there is a grassroots youth movement who went from 0 to 60 in 0.5 seconds and are at the table in getting hundreds of billion$ in bills in Congress for climate (hoax). “Unselfish” self-sacrifice via “starvation” to “save the planet” for a noble cause much bigger than they are (cough) was an unsuccessful tactic to the $$$ over the finish line. Had they been successful, not one red cent would have gone into the pockets of these do-gooder, ignorant busy bodies. They are the front, who is behind these people who built the “grassroots” organization, where did these groomers get their money and how are they going to profit is the story.
