He dies tomorrow? Maybe he can take the warning and not step off the curb after all.

There are a lot of pedestrian collision videos on youtube. They are very instructive. Seriously.
One thing I learned is that you ALWAYS look both ways, even if you have the green - and even if you are crossing a one way street.

...this holds true for driving as well. Running red lights is very common where I live. Some feel more entitled to run them than others.

Been several occasions I’ve almost walked out in front of one of those electric vehicles that don’t make any noise.
Be interesting to know if it was one of those......just one more downside to a bad idea

Ya gotta wonder how he kept from getting blindsided on the field. Gotta be aware at all times.

SoFla is a big area. Wondering where this occurred. I assume Miami, but none of the articles have any details.

was reportedly training with other Steelers quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers when a vehicle struck him
As a kid we played football on our street a lot it never happened to us.

So incredibly sad!
But on my soapbox.
Hate how these these articles always are misleading.
This man was a 3rd string QB back-up, who never actually played for the Steelers on the field.
Perhaps not as bad as “NFL Star” usually cited for anyone who happens to be on a team, but still misleading.
Off my soapbox.

I can't help wonder if he was crossing while distracted by his cell phone maybe? Or just distracted..
There have been times when I get one of those "almosts" because I am not paying attention when I cross. Scares the heck outta me.....Makes me thank God and then I try to be more aware....
Every day is a gift; may God rest his soul and comfort his family.

He was a mid first round pick coming off an all time great college season. He was not an NFL star on the field so far by any means but still had a chance to make it.

Another COVID related death.

Former #1 draft pick of the Redskins, uh Football Team uh Commanders who couldn't keep a job even for one season. I rip a lot on Ohio State QBs failing at the pro level (a warning to C.J. Stroud draft fans), but this is sad. A waste of a quarterback is one thing but the waste of a life is another. RIP.

This is from TMZ and states that Haskins was at a practice facility in Boca Raton with other Steelers players. It's possible it was right around there or maybe Haskins went clubbing in Miami.
