Los Angeles and Orange counties.

PORTER RANCH, Calif. (KABC) -- A bear cub strolled into a Ralphs supermarket in Porter Ranch on Saturday morning, startling shoppers before being tranquilized by animal control officers.

Officers initially responded about 6:45 a.m. to a report of three bears inside the store located at 19781 Rinaldi Street, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said. The officers arrived to find only one bear at the location.

Several people snapped photos and recorded videos as the animal roamed through the aisles before running out of the store and into the parking lot.

Animal control officers were able to tranquilize the cub before transporting it to a suitable habitat, officials said.

LOL, and I haven’t been drinking.

Tranquilizing, of course. Sweet little teddy bear. Going to grow up to be another Hank the Tank.

According to surveillance video some laundering is definitely called for. Here's a pic from the feed.

A little bear goes a long way. Especially if it’s close enough to breathe on you.

They should’ve just shown the bear a package of beef and he would’ve fainted dead away when he saw the price per pound these days! ;)
