Eshe Symonds, 31, a security boss from Birmingham, died suddenly when she was holidaying in Jamaica with loved ones, but an inquest
A healthy mum thought she might have been pregnant when she fell ill on holiday, only to leave investigators confused as to the cause of her death, an inquest heard.
Eshe Symonds died on holiday in Jamaica after she thought her vomiting was a result of morning sickness.
Sadly, only two days later the 31-year-old began to suffer from a tightness in her chest, BirminghamLive reported.
Even after being taken to hospital, she would die that same day.
The sudden and unknown nature of the security boss’s death left a number of questions from her heartbroken family.
An inquest at Birmingham Coroner’s Court concluded today for the mum from TIpton, who leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter.
Eshe Symonds, aged 31, a mum to seven-year-old daughter Shaya, who died while on holiday in Jamaica.
She died of natural causes, but despite the autopsy in Jamaica, more post-mortem work in the UK was unable to specify the medical cause of her death, the court was told.
A Jamaican pathologist concluded she died from pulmonary hemorrhagic syndrome, whilst the post-mortem conducted in Birmingham decided it was not possible to return a cause of death.
The Birmingham-born mum had travelled to Jamaica on December 3, last year, to visit her boyfriend and loved ones over the festive period.
She went out with a friend who was visiting her fiance to get married.
Their texts and video chats across the holiday documented how they both caught flu that “went through the community over Christmas”.

After that, Eshe and her friend recovered and had no other issues

Seems like there are recurring tourist deaths, that sound like poisoning, in the Caribbean. E.g.

Do you do daily google searches for “died suddenly”?
he does it so we don't have to. it's a service.
Conspicuously no mention of vaxx status at a time when people are dropping like flies ex post facto
Looking at other headlines in the Mirror, it seems like they specialize in documenting deaths.
Isn't it required to have a vaccine passport in order to get on a plane, and fly out of the country, to another country? Makes you wonder when she got the shots so she could go on vacation.
can’t see the link as it is a pay newspaper site.
But I did want add a comment.
A man from our area went to the Dominican Republic several years ago with his girlfriend and he died suddenly there.
This is consistent with other reports of unexplained deaths.
I read that hotels had been buying alcohol from unrepeatable people. So I would not doubt that something could have been in the drinks. Just a thought.
It was sad as this man was 62 and had talked with my husband a few weeks before his passing. He planned to work a few more years and retire to a Beach Town.
That sounds like poisoning with warfarin— rat poison.
Did they check out the places where she ate?
How soon after the jabs/boosters ???
I was 31 once there are no ‘natural causes’ of death for that age
Clot Shot, more blood on Biden’s hands.
"natural causes" is pretty standard on death certs. My nephew died in 2020 at 30. Negative toxicology report, no trauma, excellent physical condition. Autopsy found heart, kidneys and liver damaged/enlarged but could not determine a cause of death. Death certificate says "natural causes", as is pretty standard in such cases. He had a nasty bout with COVID a couple months earlier but we'll never know for sure what killed him.
No. Do you?
Maybe the government should ban such things.
How would reporters know what a person’s vaccine status was?
Warfarin is a prescription medication, although usually considered outdated. But people like Hillary Clinton take it.
I’m sorry for the loss of your nephew.
Re: 15 - Well, they would do what some of our intellectual betters on FR do - they assume the death is due to the COVID-19 vaccination until proven otherwise. And yes, some FReepers have posted such things.
Ditto. If they don’t know what it is they are in effect saying it was the vax.
Thanks. I really do miss him every day. Such loss can be hard to understand and accept. My brother still struggles with it. It was his only child.
