Chris Rock's may have landed himself in hot water with Oscar bosses as his joke about Jada Pinkett Smith was reportedly unvetted before the live show.
The comedian, 57, was slapped in the face by Jada's husband Will, 53, after he stormed on stage when Chris jokingly compared her haircut to G.I. Jane.
A source told Us Weekly that Chris initially rehearsed his speech with no mention of Jada. The insider added: 'Will was not in attendance for [the] rehearsal.'
While on stage, Chris said: 'Jada, GI Jane 2, I can't wait to see it', which prompted Will to step on stage and slap him before he shouted: 'Keep my wife's name out of your f******g mouth'.
Jada has been open about her struggle with hair loss due to alopecia. In December she posted a video where she pointed out a patch of baldness.
Now at this point, I can only laugh. Y'all know I've been struggling with alopecia and just all of a sudden one day, look at this line right here,' she said in the Instagram clip.
'Now this is going to be a little bit more difficult for me to hide, so I thought I'd just share it so y'all not asking any questions — but you know, mama's going to put some rhinestones in there, and I'm going to make me a little crown.'

My wife follows celebrities, as do many people. I can;t be bothered.
She likes Will Smith and strongly dislikes Jada, who she says is completely self absorbed and (supposedly with Will’s understanding) tends to bed anyone she cares to.
IF Will is not secretly another a-hole like his wife it’s got to cause a lot of psychological pain.
Here's why I think it's real. Smith is shown laughing at the joke while his wife is stone faced. If it's fake, why would Smith seem to initially enjoy the joke? Nope, his wife told him she was mad so he meekly went up and tried to do the minimum possible to seem like he was a tough guy for her, an open face slap that Rock looked more surprised than hurt by. Will smith is a total cuck (literally, she's quite open about demanding an open marriage so she can pursue affairs with other men)

IMAO, Chris Rock crossed every line with his “joke”.
Will Smith’s wife is a “civillian”. And even if this had been a celebrity roast event, crossing the lines from a jab at Will Smith, to making his wife the butt of the joke, goes way too far. Even for a “transgressive” comedian like Rock.
Additionally, while we are all all about everyone’s feels, (as in keeping with all 2437, or how many it is, self identifiable sexual identities), where do we rank, as public
comment, broadcast to the world, and intended to call attention to the medical condition suffered by an (civilian) individual, and intended to ridicule that individual, precisely due to that condition?
Rock got off easy. Should have been pounded to a pulp.
Justified, in my opinion.
And I blame the Academy. They hired that toadstool.
Who cares? This crap is like a People magazine tabloid.
The punch was also too perfectly thrown to do so little damage, or to have been thrown in anger. Smith did play Muhammad Ali. Looks like acting to me.

Now Hollyweird has the precious post-Oscars buzz they haven’t had a a decade or more.
If the roles were reversed, they’d be going after Chris Rock to save their sweetheart, Will Smith. Disgusting.
Assuming the entire thing wasn’t scripted....
Rock is not going to press charges, because that would be the end of his career, and I don’t think he’s that stupid.
I know Chris’ joke was in poor taste, and I can understand Mr. Smith’s reaction to someone upsetting his wife.. However, can you imagine any other public situation like this where the person assaulting the other person was not immediately removed by security? Let alone be allowed on the same stage later that night?
If you or I (one of the little people) had done something like this, you know security would have escorted us out immediately, at the very least, whether our actions were justified or not.
If that cursing went out live on ABC, and I don’t know if it did or not, but if it did, every single ABC affiliate that broadcast it should be getting find $200k... because that’s the fine $100k per incident... he said it twice.

Will’s wife is now royalty.....you do not make jokes about her.....do ot to melania or Ivanka Trump instead.
I thought she did indeed look like GI Jane.All that is left now is to ask Chris Rock to declare himself a member of the Make America Great Again party.Maybe he just woke up.
