Yeah that’s the plan - we’ll use the Cuba/Venezuela model.

Worked for them...oh wait.

Easy to grow, but, nutrionally, pretty worthless.

Not worth the garden space.

Don’t worry Laz, we bought 8 pallets of 4x4000 plastic last November, our fertilizer, plastics for the greenhouses, pots, etc. -just did not think that Roundup was going to hit the fan too.

I had some business classes in the 90s and the example used was convenience. An egg will be 5 cents to buy and $1 fried in a hamburger as an extra.

If there is anything that gets hit it is the convenience and not the calories.

. I can the butt hurt is still there from the last time you popped out of your hole and got spanked.

LOL! I will address that later today, you feckless prawn.

You see, SOME of us have lives and responsibilities.

I sense that you are one of those who has delusions of adequacy.

Put down the crack pipe and stop fantasizing. You said “The more you interact with me..” WE HAVE NEVER INTERACTED, OTHER THAN WHEN YOU POPPED UP AND TRIED SOME LAME CUT AND PASTE OUT OF CONTEXT TO SMEAR WHAT I SAID. I didn’t let you get away with that and now you pop up again out of nowhere, still butt hurt.

Actually we did interact maybe 10 years ago when you were some love sick puppy over some Chritian women you were dating. Other than that it is zero, other than your stunt mentioned above

This round of inflation predates everything on your list except “covid”.

A lot less than they are now.

Inflation started a few months after the bi-partisan afterburnering of the monetary printing press.

“The majority spend way to much on high priced packaged junk. More people will go more back to basics, cheaper staples bought in bulk.”

_____________________________

Very true.

While we are not “preppers” in the classic sense of the word it is prudent to have a stock of shelf foods. In that vain we have some stuff and since everything has a shelf life want to rotate items so we have been doing a lot of food prep using basic ingredients and trying to keep it simple.

Anyway very little of what we eat are packaged or convenience foods anymore which has resulted in cutting our food budget almost in half.

Biden’s folks are not even showing a bit of concern.

Now is a good time to start a garden as a back up and save money and a good lesson for the kids.

Thank you and exactly!

When you support people solving the problem, offering solutions, some confuse that with you supporting those who caused the problems. Same issue with supporting the Ukrainian prople. Some who fail at basic logicical thinking will instantly pop out of nowhere and a accuse you of supporting Biden, Soros, ...

You are 100% correct in places like Oakland County.

I’m 53 miles south of the bridge.

24.5 acres and we border Pigeon State Forest.

Wild game is endless.

Otsego country population is 25,000.

I carefully chose many things when looking for a place up here.

I suggest anyone that can, leave the big cities and their suburbs and be more independent and self sustaining.

Bartering will be the new currency.
