While meat packs in more protein than beans,

Meat gives you a complete protein. Beans need to be combined with a grain for a complete protein and even then, you have to eat a lot more compared to meat.

RANCHO GORDO is a good source for heirloom beans. Good quality, lots of pro chefs use them. Herbs and spices are good, too. FYI.

If you have a heifer the last thing you want to do is butcher it unless it is sterile.

We get about nine gallons of 5.6 butterfat milk on a daily basis from our two.

That is a lot of cheese, butter, yogurt and other foods by keeping the cows alive.
