I know members of Free Republic are Patriots of GRAND America. Is joining AARP a burden on Free Enterprise? I appreciate FREEPERS knowledged opinion, understanding.

I threatened AARP with legal action if they continued to send me or my wife unsolicited mail and email. Never heard from AARP again.

You should. All of your member fees go to leftist outfits. Your response is similar to others I have seen on FR concerning, “I hate so-and-so’s politics but he is a good actor and I enjoy watching his movies,” etc. They, like you, are supporting leftists.

I still remember seeing a video of some AARP woman rep explaining Obamacare to seniors at a living facility once. She was getting all kinds of questions and flack over what AARP was advocating and going to do and finally she just told all of them to shut up. That’s AARP. Completely political on the left side of the spectrum.
we have a military ID, AAA, and we’re seniors....you can’t pile discount upon discount and frankly, they are all about the same....its not much...a pittance really, but anything is helpful.
It is a free country, so far. I suppose you can continue to pay the leftists if you choose to do so. You are helping them continue their leftist take-over.
AMAC supports means testing to get reduced social security benefits last time I checked. So that is NO-GO for AMAC.
