Ukraine 4 (vanity)

Media and Biden are setting the table for an escalation in American involvement in the Ukraine-Russia war. This must not happen. America has no business getting involved in foreign wars that don’t involve our allies.

Without foreign involvement I see the following peace settlement happening - Russia will take Crimea, Ukraine will recognize Donbas independence, Ukraine will not join the EU or NATO, and then the war will be over. The only problem is that the idiot Zelensky is saying no to Russia’s reasonable demands. And these demands are reasonable. In fact, the Russian claim to Crimea, at a minimum should have been acknowledged 8 years ago after they had a referendum.

Putin was wrong to invade the Ukraine. But other than some short term sanctions as a disincentive to violence, the US needs to normalize its trade relationship with Russia. If the USA does not have normal trade relationships with Russia then that leaves China as the only nation with normal trade relations with most of the globe. This weakens America as it hurts our economy. And most importantly, we have no business getting involved in foreign wars.

Where are your priorities? The important thing is to create the illusion that Putin is responsible for the gas prices and other inflation and make Biden a “wartime” president. Then we can stop the Republicans from electoral gains in Congress. That’s what’s really important, even to most Republican legislators who are also warmongering.

They are more afraid of Trump than of a world war. Now that’s some serious TDS!

The Neocons need a new cold war and a new Berlin Wall staffed with Deplorables.

Even better than being called a Putinista - According to many Americans who don’t support Ukraine are TRAITORS.

This goes along with people who don’t wear masks and get vaccines as being genocidal.

I do want Putin to stay as Russian leader…I actually believe he is a force for good there, relative to the alternative.

the US needs to normalize its trade relationship with Russia. If the USA does not have normal trade relationships with Russia then that leaves China as the only nation with normal trade relations with most of the globe. This weakens America as it hurts our economy.

Worse than that, it will to the end of the US dollar as world's reserve currency and the end of the petrodollar.

If that happens, it is going to be much, much harder to manage our massive debt.

We've, sadly, already pushed Russia into an alliance with China. That won't change. Russia won't trust the West again for decades.

And, Russia certainly has more than just China to trade with. India and Russia now have formed a strong trade alliance. There are plenty of South American nations that are happy to do business with Russia as well.

What you said doesn’t even make sense. The left, the globalists, the media, the GOPe - they are all on your side. Have you not been paying attention? Sheesh.

The self-appointed “Russia experts” around here have the idea that Putin’s successor will be some sort of tree-hugger peacenik.

The current bench-warmers are fanatical Russian nationalists who would like to silence Western propaganda once and for all.

Trump said he would bomb Moscow.

Trump killed 200 Russian soldiers in Syria.

Trump bombed a Russian base in Syria with a cruise midsole attack.

Biden Obama Clinton wanted Russia to feel comfortable taking over Ukraine.

While I agree with you, but I must know what was the true motivation for Putin to decide to invade. There has been an 8 years war, since Russia claimed the Crimea and annexed it as part of Russia in 2014, that has been raging against the Russians who live in the Donbas area of Eastern Ukraine. Most are totally unaware of that fact. There are also openly admitting Nazi's in that Eastern Ukraine as well. Again, that most eople dismiss as propaganda. So, perhaps that is his reason for invading, but he may have also invaded to capture the bio-labs there also, even though he never mentioned that initially.

Maybe we should have a referendum here in Texas. Anyway, I thought Putin has expressed his desire to bring back the old Soviet borders. He seems to do what he says, not a big bluffer like POTUS. He’s testing his army and testing the West to see what we’ll do.

Ukraine leadership is CIA agent he does not care for his country or people and wants to turn it into rubble, no amount of weapons is going to make them beat russian army. ;( That is why it is good to have smart leadership and not grunts who don’t understand these things.

I agree that maybe Putin would like to have old Soviet borders, but he knows that is not possible because it is too costly to subjugate people who don’t want to be part of Russian rule. This is why I don’t even think he wants to claim Donbas region - he just wants its independence to be recognized.

Why should Mr. Z take Putin’s Terms? He’s Winning! His troops will push out the Russians soon—they are counter attacking all fronts. Blowing up with drones all Russian Tank (death Traps). They will defeat the ill lead, ill armed Russian Army and will soon take back all lands and maybe add more to Ukraine. One Ukrainian can beat Ten Russian crying conscripts. The fact that Russians need to have Syrians help them means that they got nothing left. Putin must have been mad to even attempt to fight Ukraine! They will be sending planes to attack Russian cities soon. Coward Putin will not leave his bunker.
