He had already served her. All he had to do is walk away (looking over his shoulder of course)

That is true, but was he there just to serve her or see to it she left the apt?

He had no idea someone else wasn't in there and in danger related to her instability.

“He had already served her. All he had to do is walk away (looking over his shoulder of course)”
*********************************************************

He served her successfully and then she closed the door on him after NEVER leaving her apartment or letting him in. Up til then she didn’t really do anything illegal. Why did he call all the other cops and why did they all later enter her apartment? Maybe the original cop felt “dissed”?

IMHO, poor judgement was shown by the cops. Just sayin’.

If just to serve, all he had to do is walk away. His job was done. Had to call backup to do what?

Wrong! She threatened a police officer who was in the course of doing his job. That's a crime.

Or, did they not teach you people that fact when you took your citizenship test?

He wasn’t a process server that I can read but and officer of some manner. He cannot ignore her brandishing a knife, IMO. He did walk away and called the regular police.

She accepted the notice.
All she had to do was put down the knife, and say I was in the kitchen cooking,...ect
Her only problem woulda been finding a new place to live.
But, NO!!! No one can follow simple instructions from PO’s, and now society wwill call bad on police.

Simple commands should be followed!! Otherwise bad things happen

I severed papers for decades.

He should have just walked away unless he eviction papers were for physical removal.

That wasn’t clear.
