Nelly Korda, the No. 2 ranked golfer in the Rolex Women’s Rankings, announced on Sunday that she has been diagnosed with a blood clot and is recuperating at home in Florida.

Korda, 23, released a statement on Instagram outlining her condition.

...

Korda said she was in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., on Friday for a photo shoot and commerical appearance. After working out in the morning, she noticed swelling in her arm. At the advice of her doctor, she went to the emergency room, where the diagnosis was made.

The LPGA Tour has played the last two weeks in Asia, but Korda stayed home and was expected to playing in the JTBC Classic in Carlsbad, Calif., in a lead up to the year’s first women’s major, the Chevron Championship at Mission Hills. The two events are set for back-to-back weeks at the end of March. Korda's status for either event is unclear at this point.

Re: 32 - and nothing is preventing you from contacting the golfer’s PR rep to inquire about the golfer’s COVID-19 vaccination status, or contacting the news media to ask about the golfer’s vaccination status.

It would be very easy for her people to say that she’s been tested for VITT, to rule it out, and that her testing came back negative.

They haven’t done that, have they...

Re: 42 - So it must be COVID-19 unless otherwise proven. Right? Right??

That’s not what I said, is it...

It would be very easy to say that in light of her vaxx status, they’ve done the labs and ruled it out.

They haven’t said that, have they.

Right. And why would they? Why is it yours or my business? Because we think it is?

If people REALLY want to know, they can contact the golfer’s PR person.

Meanwhile, a paper on two female patients, a 20 YO and a 28 YO...

Case report: cerebral sinus vein thrombosis in two patients with AstraZeneca SARS-CoV-2 vaccination

BTW, use of an estrogen containing contraception is discussed.

She has PR people who talk about her health status.

Those same people could easily say this isn’t vaxx-related.

They haven’t, have they.

That said, it could be her docs have indeed ruled it out and her PR people have been told to not mention that, even if it’s not an issue in this case.

If so, that’s also telling.

But if she’s vaxxed and her docs haven’t ruled out vaxx involvement, she needs new docs.

Data that I had to go looking for.

Thank you Deep State, Big Med, and Big Pharma.

The use estrogen containing birth control might not just be a red flag for pre-menopausal women.

HRT therapies use estrogen.

And I haven’t any vaxxed female I’ve asked who’s been asked about any BCP or HRT use before getting shot up.

This gets me torqued off on a related subject, how it looks as though Deep State was concerned about adverse events before the vaxxes were even released and how they reduced the risk of those events being reported. See my links on this FR thread...

Dr. John Campbell has been red-pilled

Most, if not all, pro athletes are vaccinated in order to compete in tournaments that require them and to travel. If an athlete is NOT vaccinated, that’s when you will publicy hear about their status.

FWIW, the NFL, the NBA, the NHL, and MLB never had player mandates. They made the unvaxxed players lives hell, but there was never a league mandate.

Just checked. Nor for the LPGA, either.

Many major metros, including NYC, had vaxx loopholes for athletes (among others).

But is anyone else now really, really wondering what the sports leagues knew about the risk of adverse events and when they knew it...

Cuz I am.

Simple. It’s speculation on the part of FReepers about the cause of that holder’s blood clot. The FReeper who posted about her sister has information directly from someone who suffered a clot, from something other than COVID-19.

I think that the majority of FReepers are well aware that there are also other possible causes for blood clots. We all know that blood clots existed, e.g., in the 1960s.

It's just that no one cares about other, banal causes of blood clots right now.

Understandably, someone who posts an article about a young athlete getting a blood clot is going to attract a lot more attention from FReepers wanting to know her vaxx status. Almost no one is going to ask about, e.g., her use of birth control pills, or whether she had recently been travelling in an area affected by Lyme Disease, or whether there's a history of that in her family.

Understandably.

Understand.

Well, if people want to know more, they should contact the person in question. Otherwise, all this is just spitballing.

Fury: Re: 32 - and nothing is preventing you from contacting the golfer’s PR rep to inquire about the golfer’s COVID-19 vaccination status, or contacting the news media to ask about the golfer’s vaccination status.

You are being ridiculous by suggesting that "no one is preventing me" from hunting down this golfer's PR representative, engaging a Private Detective, or maybe submitting a FOIA request - in order to continue / prior to continuing this discussion here on FR.

We would be literally unable to discuss ANY conservative topics / current (controversial) news events if we were held to that standard.

Of course, we WISH that we had access to mountains of unbiased info - but we don't!

We here at Free Republic are all well aware of how biased the media are - and of how they are pursuing their own agenda.

That's why, when, e.g, a "hate crime" is reported, you'll so often here "Why didn't they mention the race of the thug who attacked the poor old Asian woman?" or "I wonder why they didn't identify the race of the student accused of reporting a bogus hate crime?"

If you had your way, I suppose that we wouldn't be allowed to speculate about such things - since "nothing is preventing us from contacting the local authorities in Bumf*ck, Alabama, and asking for the pertinent details!" Like the authorities there would happily oblige us!

Are you really that naive? Or are you being intentionally obstructionist?

Well, if people want to know more, they should contact the person in question. Otherwise, all this is just spitballing.

I suppose that my grandparents, when informed by postcard that all of the Jews in their old neighborhood back in the "Old Country" were mysteriously disappearing, should have simply contacted "the Authorities" and asked what was happening.

I'm sure that - after six months - they would have been informed, "Oh, they have all opted to take a wonderful indefinite vacation in marvelous Dachau!"

In other words: In the political current climate, 90% of the news articles one finds have been carefully tailored to omit the most-relevant info. This is lamentable - but then implying that we FReepers are lazy because we don't first attempt contact the town mayor, the police chief, someone's PR representative, or the Dept. of Justice and ask for clarification is simply ludicrous!

We might just as well write to Mayor Lightfoot in Chicago and ask her whether the rising criminality might be due to White Supremacy.

Furthermore: Explicitly stating that we should hold our tongues until "all the information is on the table" or has been procured via laborious and time-consuming official channels is absurd and repugnant!

When we indulge in "spitballing," as you call it, there's always the hope that some FReeper might suddenly chime in with a useful bit of data, such as, "Folks, I work with the PGA and can confirm that 85% of all golfers are vaxxed and that 92% of all female golfers under 30 years of age are vaxxed."

That's (partly) why we talk here.

Many/most FR threads go off topic and down a rabbit hole.

Unfortunately! Let's all make more of an effort to prevent that from happening - by remaining on topic!

Nobody cares.

I beg to differ. I think that, in fact, very many FReepers would agree that it can often be quite frustrating when threads are highjacked.

Often people learn things they might not have known otherwise; I know I have.

That's why we have Wikipedia. If you are interested in Lyme Disease or blood clots, that's the space for you!

But there is practically no other place in the Internet where conservatives can meet and attempt to discuss controversial topics in the face of a totally biased media.

“That’s why we have Wikipedia.”

Far-left propagandist Wikipedia is the absolute LAST place I’d go for ANY information.
