If you dare to step out of line, there are grave consequences for you, ranging from attacks on your character, removal from your careers and community, to imprisonment.
The Russia/Ukraine war is the Globalist’s latest excuse to control the information battle-space, target individuals who disobey or contradict their narratives and strip people of their most fundamental rights. An astonishing example took place Thursday evening on Australian Television.
During the ABC show Q&A, pro-Russia man Sasha Gillies-Lekakis, a 22-year-old Spanish and Latin American Studies student from the University of Melbourne, criticized the networks reporting about Ukraine. Presenter Stan Grant then ordered the man to leave the studio.
“There are many Russians here and around the world who support Putin’s actions in Ukraine, including me,” said Gillies-Lekakis, who is part of the Russian community in Australia. “I am outraged by the narrative created by our media that portrays the Ukrainians as the good guys and the Russians as the bad guys.”
Since 2014, the Russian population in Donbas has been besieged by the Ukrainian government and Nazi groups such as the Azov Battalion, Gillies-Lekakis said, adding that an estimated 13,000 people have died in the conflict, according to the United Nations…

By posting this you prove you’re a Putin lover. What’s next…are you going to demand the J6 protestors be detained indefinitely?

I honestly have heard nothing of any aggression by Ukraine into Russian territory. Has this been mostly cleansed from our news sources, or is it a false claim?
The fact that you can’t even question the narrative is a hint…
Would we even know?

False claim.
Kinda like the tree falling in the forest with no one to hear it.
The fact that you can’t even question the narrative is a hint…
I only asked a legitimate question. I thought someone might actually have an answer.
Would we even know?
I wasn’t being snarky. I simply don’t know all the facts either. My grandmother was Ukrainian and here entire Dnieperpetrovsk family was pro-Russian. I was always shocked…
I met my first Ukranian around 1984 or so. I got an earfull real quick that they don’t like being mistaken for Russian. I started realizing that there appears to be no love lost between the two cultures. In studying WWII back in the 70’s I learned that when the Nazi’s entered “The” Ukraine they were at first seen as liberators - until they started rounding up and executing people.
Who can be criticized these days?
BTW, thank you. We need more of that kind of civility in these threads. :)
I get a lot of snark on “open” forums where all comers are welcome. We’re much more civilized here, but it can still get pretty ugly sometimes. I’m embarrassed for some freepers sometimes.
It’s very complex. In addition to my blood relatives, My Ukrainian Jewish friends are all pro-Russian. That said, younger Generation is pro-Ukrainian. It is a schizophrenic nation…
We have a bunch of arm chair warriors here on Free Republic that viciously attack anyone who questions the MSM/Biden/Soros narrative. If you say that you are concerned that Putin may be sick, mentally unstable and could trigger a nuclear war if further provoked; they accuse you of working for Putin.
The Russians have gotten away with installing puppet regimes in their former eastern block satellites for decades and no one lifted a finger. Now the globalists are indicating that protecting a corrupt Soros installed regime is worth risking billions of people’s lives and security.
White male Christians.
That does make this a bit of a mess. It makes it hard to take a side.
.
Growing up with Ukrainian grandparents right off the boat, I was well aware of the feelings between the two countries.
