THe battle hardened defenders of Kyiv broke the siege today as they have made an opening in the Russian Front Near the town of Bucha. This has cut off the Russians in Vasylkiv, and we will have to see what tomorrow brings with those developments. This stream goes live around 10 PM EST every night until the war is over. Its Ukrainian honey badgers vs Russian simple conscripts who have no will or heart for battle.
Putin is not destroying all the Ukraine cities or killing the people.
Instead they are targeting attacks against the Ukraine “military”. Which is more like a national guard than a real military.
In addition Russia is not destroying the power, water, communications, utilities, etc…. . Probably because Russia does not want to spend billions rebuilding Ukraine if they take the entire country?
Read that Ukraine gave everyone weapons to fight the Russians. Unfortunately, some criminals used it to rob and there are paybacks to people they were not happy with. So some of the rifle exchanges we were hearing in the cities were not Russian forces. Instead it was Ukraine people shooting at each other for various reasons. Mainly criminals taking things.
I wonder why they targeted this apartment building.
Then there is no need for NATO or for Ukraine to join NATO. The purpose of NATO was to defeat Russia.
There are four fronts in this war:
1) The Kiev front - Ukraine has made gains here in the last couple days
2) The Kharkiv front - Stable for several days
3) The Donbass front - Stable for several days
4) The Crimea front - Russia making significant gains
The danger is Ukraine seems unable to get any troops to the Kherson area, leaving that open for a Russian breakout in the southwest.
However, Pootie’s troops are offering safe corridors to trapped civilians and military. When the corridor is filled with escapees, the troops open fire, slaughtering everyone. A 1000 Ukraine soldiers were killed that way - according to a Ukraine lady parliament member.
I guess all forget President Putin was a former KGB man. Russia has been on the Ukraine border and in the separatist areas for 10 years. He’s not going away anytime soon. Most are underestimating what the Russians are capable of and that is one element of war that never should be taken for granted.
