I never pack anything into capsules.
I have mentioned MSM. You can buy this in capsules. But it makes more sense to buy it in powder form.
D3 is only available in gelcaps so you have no choice there

BUT when I want to buy a supplement and I have a choice..... Then I buy the bulk powder. Be is 8oz or 1lb or more.

This company has been in business for decades. 90% of what they sell is in bulk form>>> https://www.bulksupplements.com/

They sell direct BUT also sell on eBay and Amazon

Bill Sardi wrote an article about vitamin C that talked about this

If you want to keep your body saturated all day long with vitamin C. Take 225mg C every two hours. More than this and it just washes out and is not utilized. Less than this and you will not be 100% saturated. By vitamin C I mean 225mg of sodium ascorbate powder or swallowing a 250mg capsule or tablet of vitamin C. Or alternate them during your awake hours.

By saturated, I mean at maximum vitamin c levels.
So if you are ill and think maximum vitamin C will help — Take 225 mg every two hours.

I would like to hear other opinions as to supplements to best protect against covid and provide protection from age related diseases.

For me, here is what I take from this "top 5" list:

From the rest of the mentioned supplements, I take several due to not having a consistent diet to rely on natural intake:

Metformin For Longevity
Metformin is a prescription drug indicated for diabetes but was found to promote longevity in people with type 2 diabetes

Metformin works by inhibiting mitochondria which forces the body to respond by making more mitochondria for use when the drug is not around
Someone who is overweight and has type 2 diabetes has been shown to live longer than someone who doesn’t have type 2 diabetes

Controversy: metformin use appeared to diminish muscle in study participants – but the study reported a difference in the size of muscle, not performance; and there was no difference in the number of reps between the metformin group and control group
David Sinclair takes metformin for longevity but mitigates by taking it after exercise

Ultra-peacenik and ultra-lib Linus Pauling lived to 93 or so. If you have a good link please send it to. His formula for clean arteries was 6-10 grams C per day plus lysine. By C I am just about positive, he meant sodium ascorbate. The old Docs of 40 years who would administer intravenous C, this was sodium ascorbate. Matter of fact, I just got his book “Cancer and Vitamin C” from ebay. I just looked at the table of contents and the title is accurate. I thought it would cover vitamin C in general some more.

The ultimate vitamin C is lypospheric C -— https://www.bing.com/search?q=lypospheric+C&PC=U316&FORM=CHROMN

Reality is, is that it is an encapsulated C so that it keeps your C levels high for hours. It is expensive. But you can do the same thing by taking 225mg C tablets or sodium ascorbate every two hours.

sulforaphane (NRF2 activator)

You can’t take sulforaphane directly

You have to take myrosinase and Glucoraphanin. These combine to make sulforaphane

Where do you get your myrosinase and Glucoraphanin?
