But Russia and Putin are not our main enemy. Russia’s GDP is smaller than Texas’.

Wall St and our universities aren’t in bed with Russia. Russia doesn’t have Stalin or Lenin Institutes at colleges all over the country. Russia doesn’t have a Belt Road initiative nor does it have debt traps with countries all over the globe.

China is the main enemy and, if reports are correct, it just turned its back to Putin and now he’s all alone, possibly. No help from anyone but Belarus.

You have to put yourself in the place of an Elite billionaire, or someone who has the political connections to approximate billionairehood.

They don't need most of us peasants around in this age of automation.

Us untermenschen are mucking up THEIR pleasure planet with global warming [our energy demands], demands for food and threats to their personal security.

The death of millions of us will aid The Great Reset.

The more communistic I judge a nation's leadership to be, the more non-supportive of that nation I become.

I don't think we have to be too concerned about totalitarians, though, as leftists have been loving totalitarians for decades. I view Putin as being much more totalitarian than communist, and I view the governments of "The West" as, over the past two years, having become more communist than democratic.

Is that sufficiently obfuscated?

Please spare me that nonsense.

You and I don't even know the facts of what's going on over there, and the loudest supporters of Ukraine in governments all over the world are a bucket full of globalist @ssholes like Joe Biden, Mitt Romney, Lizard Cheney, Justine Trudeau, and that dude from France who married his mother.

Maybe I'll care when Private Vindman shows up and testifies before Congress about witnessing Russian soldiers removing babies from incubators in Ukrainian hospitals and leaving them on the floor to die. /sarcasm off/

Will have half a dozen posters saying it isn’t real or the Ukrainian people deserve to suffer because NWO or whatever.

My problem is that I can't believe ANYTHING that is coming out of the region. And after being gaslit by the MSM for the past six years over Covid and Russian collusion, why should I?

Was this girl killed by Russians? Ukrainians? A car accident? Yesterday? 2014? Who the hell knows? Everyone is lying!

Everything you read on Twitter right now, everything that is going viral, is either completely unverifiable or total bullsh*t.

CNN said it happened? Sorry, but that doesn't mean a goddamned thing to me. And even if it did, well, war is hell. I'm sure I could dig up pictures of dead children that were killed by Ukrainian forces in the separatist regions that they've been shelling for the past eight years. Photos that CNN would never publish.

“What causes mixed feelings is the fact that Ukraine is a very corrupt country that the democrats and the deepstate use to launder money among other things.”

Exactly.

“What causes mixed feelings is the fact that Ukraine is a very corrupt country that the democrats and the deepstate use to launder money among other things.”

All that is true. But what I think has conservatives siding with Ukraine is that there was no justifiable reason for Russia to invade Ukraine. Ukraine never attacked Russia (indeed, it was the other way around, and that started in 2014). Ukraine seeking membership in the EU? NATO? Well, can you blame Ukraine for that? Yes, I understand that Russia fears being “surrounded” by NATO, but there is no way NATO CAN surround Russia. It is simply an excuse.

Russia is an insecure and paranoid country (but not without reason, given that it has been attacked throughout its history). Perhaps that is why it has been a wholly untrustworthy country for...hell, probably forever. Maybe Russia is untrustworthy because it doesn’t trust anyone else.

There is much to admire about Russia, and the Russian people. There is also much to condemn. But, when it goes on the warpath, it needs to be met head-on.

I wish people could get along; but it is not in human nature to do that. No other creature, animal, or organism is as dangerous as man; none is as treacherous. So, Russia and Russians are...well, human. That being said, we love and protect and defend our own, no matter what. It was ever thus.

“They’re all CLAIMING that Trump supported Putin because of obviously sarcastic remarks he made on the Clay & Buck radio show last Tuesday.”

Did he go on the radio to talk about Putin’s genius again?

He’s been doing that pretty much every day now and really needs an advisor to tell him “ixnay with the utin-Pay art-smay enius-jay”. Getting blasted for that by the media/Dems is an “own goal” unenforced error.

Hi.

I’m a Conservative.

How can I say this?

Putin was born in the Soviet Union. Became a Col. in the KGB. He will kill for the motherland. He is a thug and bully. If you fu@k with him he will kill you.

Unfortunately Putin is smart, well funded and polls well in Russia.

I’m saying this for President Trump...

Schumer, go and reproduce asexually.

"George Soros certainly muddied the waters when he urged US support for Ukraine over the weekend."

He didn't muddy the water. Just like Hillary pledging her support didn't muddy the water. It's becoming more clear every day who is perpetuating this geopolitical theater.

Outwardly supporting? Nah.

I’ve read plenty sympathetic to their cause. I ignore them.

Realistically assessing the situation is enough to cause some people to be accused of being a Putin supporter.

I hope Ukraine kicks the excrement out of Russia, but I think Russia is going to get most of what Russia is trying to achieve with this invasion. I’m not going to let my wishes blind me to what I think is going to happen. I do hope I’m wrong.

It's not support of Putin. It's support of staying the hell out of it all. That means we "must be supporting Putin, comrade" and all the crap that goes with it.

The history there is long and ugly. There is no good side.

its not cheering on a dictatorship. its more like NOT supporting a US produced leftist ideology. Principles should be consistent. not just periodic.

It’s all tied to the left’s push to prop up Biden and his desperately sagging numbers. He and his ‘sources’ have done everything possible to prod and push Russia into an attack JUST prior to his much-delayed SOTU address. In order to come off as a world leader, the villain (Putin) and his supporters (conservative right) has to be identified and vilified. It’s the one big chance he has to influence what happens this November.

It’s all a multi-faceted campaign all the way from pushes on NATO to act somehow, to influencing other countries to act on sanctions to MSM and social media pushing the #ukrainewinning memes. If you think about it, it’s a fantastic compilation of acts that would speak highly of Biden if only he weren’t a demented and incompetent place-holder. It’s the people that handle him who are behind it.
