Coming to the defense of Vivenne. Don’t know this individual but have talked back and forth on this thread. We seem to be like minded on Trump for full disclosure. All this individual has done is to argue and defend. If it got rough around the edges, you are the one with the issues. I can’t think of one person on FR who hasn’t gone back and forth with another without things getting heated. What you are currently using is a tactic and it’s to save face, I believe. When things get too uncomfortable you take a step backward and level charges of incivility.
All of us need to come to the understanding that we are not going to think alike. My side adores Donald J. Trump. You folks don’t. Fair enough. I’m not even getting into his presidential time in office or voting for him. I think we need to let it go. But I will tell you this. I fully support this man, 1000%, vulgar, crude, non presidential, non politician. I have my reasons just as you have yours. We won’t change each other’s minds. And Vivenne has been decent to everyone on this thread. I’ve read the posts.
I don’t recall being bad to viv. Maybe a bit impatient. Thread is too long I’d have to review. But this string is not that.
I agree, we don’t all agree exactly. It’d be nice if even the thread starter could post an opinion without being jumped on. That is my issue. Too many attacks over too long. Some people have decent discussions. But I don’t cotton kindly to those who beat up and insult immediately. And it’s true, it does happen frequently. I’m a hot head and I do not take dishonor quietly. I thought you all liked that?
Anyway indeed, it’d be nice to just disagree calmly. And discuss. Not accuse and condemn.
