it looks like she had a lot of long, dreads, and weave, attached which made it easier for the dog to pull and tear at injuring her scalp. I guess that hairdo would stand up to category 5 wind speeds.
Hope they can mend her scalp.

"I feel ugly," she said. "I get miserable I get depressed. I'm not happy with myself. I don’t even feel cute." She’s not happy with herself because of the way she looks, not because she was stealing from others.
Next time maybe she should consider making better life choices.
