This is how progressive government “public health” fails us. Vitamin D, zinc, quercetin are all well-known, completely harmless, and above all CHEAP. The evidence of their effectiveness is clear
Yet Government and the “political health” agencies would never promote this, or even suggest it, to the nation.

It’s the other way round
Vitamin D3 has been shown and proven by many daily users here to effectively prevent various respiratory problems. The chemistry is such that hormones that prevent problems in the respiratory organs are produced by vitamin D3.
Covid is at root a respiratory disease.
But of course that wouldn't make the politicians rich on the vaccine stocks!

Besides other supplements and vitamins, I take Vit. D (5000iu), Zinc, Vitamin C, and Quercetin daily to help ward off Covid. I also take Turkey Tail - it’s excellent for the immune system.
During the height of the scandemic, people were not allowed on beaches and were told to go come to their crowded apartment complexes.
The skin cancer scare really made people paranoid.

My wife and I have been taking D3, zinc, C, and a multi-vitamin ever since this thing started. We had the original vax very early on. But, no boosters since. We are constantly out in the public daily. If we ever caught covid, it was never anything more than a sniffle and we never noticed.
Important information for people that want to understand the root causes of much of modern disease. Supplements are good but this explains why sunlight is better. Its the IR penetration that makes a big difference.
(At one point early on it almost feels like its about to turn into a commercial but it doesnt so dont turn it off.)

Also, don't smoke or drink and keep my weight down. Healthy people have much less risk of Covid-itis.
