Even some police have lost faith with their own government.

This is a 2 minute and 50 second rant.

You seem to be judging others who you have no insight into their lives, responsibilities, character, or situations. You should worry about your own integrity before judging others. Log in the eye sort of thing.

It’s not an ad hominem. It’s an observation that you’re not satisfied with this guy sticking his neck out, you’ll only be satisfied if he throws his livelihood away to satisfy your own unrealistic idea of what constitutes being principled. On the other hand, nobody knows who you are or what you’ve done as falling on your own sword for the sake of your principles. Hence, you’re a dork. A bladder of hot air.

Sounds like more ad hominem to me. You’re attempting character assassination instead of looking at what the officer is saying and doing, and trying to change my mind via thoughtful discussion, or to offer your perspective and opinion on what they are doing. That’s ALWAYS the case when you stop looking at the story and start looking at the commenters and start verbally attacking them.

It doesn’t further the discussion and its designed to shut your opponent’s side down. In other words, it has no bearing.

Your opinion of me doesn’t change the fact that unless the officer quits he lacks principle and lacks integrity. In fact, if he maintains his employment there I would go so far as to say that his integrity is for sale.

Even if he is not directly engaged in the objectionable behavior, his labor still supports the department that is perpetrating the behavior, and thus furthers its goals.

I completely understand their circumstance. I happen to have mostly the same - family, house, cars, bills, tuition, taxes. They are no different than me (or even you) except in that they have a more potentially life-threatening job.

So your opinion about me judging others is not really relevant to what is going on with this officer, is it? Its just more ad hominem.

People really need to get over this. Quit attacking the commenters on stories and instead try to persuade them to your point of view. Comment on the story yourself instead of going on the attack. Instead of calling me a name, say, “Is it possible the officer is doing X from inside the department instead of quitting?”

”You’re attempting character assassination…“

”…Your opinion of me doesn’t change the fact that unless the officer quits he lacks principle and lacks integrity.”

You’re really too myopic to believe.

BS.

He can still work and refuse to obey unlawful orders.

He can not see when something happens that is legal and doesn’t need to be addressed.

Your original post:

did the police officer quit in protest? If not, he has no principles and his voice doesn’t matter.

Your post to me just now:

I completely understand their circumstance.

Really? I dont see how.

Instead of calling me a name, say, “Is it possible the officer is doing X from inside the department instead of quitting?”

I dont recall my name calling, but your question is valid and one you might have asked yourself before your initial post.

The last thing we need is the good and decent police quitting and the criminal/thugs like Trudeau and his goons staying on.

Exactly.

More names. Good lord, does it ever end with you???

You think this officer had some grand scheme in mind when they made this video? Is that what you’re saying? Myopic? DUDE.

If your employer, regardless of whether they are gov’t or commercial or non-profit, involves themselves in shady or outright illegal acts and you are privy to those acts and do nothing, you understand that you could be held as an accessory to those crimes, right?

So how is this different? If the police department is telling the cops to do unlawful things and the cops either do them, or say nothing about them, that means the cops are either directly criminal or it means they are accessories to criminal acts.

SO from the perspective of principle, if your employer, whom you freely associate with, does something like fetal tissue experimentation which you strongly feel is immoral and you continue to work for them, what does that say about you? If you follow the logic of a criminal act, then YOU ARE AN ACCESSORY to those immoral acts. Your principles are lines which you do not cross. Laws are lines which the government expects us to not cross. ITS NO DIFFERENT. Its just a matter of your personal laws (principles) that you abide by and the laws the government expects us to abide by.

And don’t get me wrong. People have different principles for different reasons and experiences. What is wrong for one person may not be for another and the reasons and reasoning can be entirely insane from my perspective, but true none the less. The point is, if the cop is screaming about really bad illegal unlawful things happening but then going about their day and doing their job, are they not just helping? Could they not quit the job and have their workload fall on someone else, and therefore make that other person overworked to the point that they can’t do the unlawful things?

I realize its more important to you that you be right than I, so i don’t expect much except more ad hominem attacks. But this is what principle and integrity are about. They are lines you don’t cross. They are personal laws that you abide by. And if you are going to scream about such things but not follow through and remove yourself from the situation by resigning your position, then you are aiding and abetting and being an accessory to the crimes you were screaming about.

“Did all those members resign from their LE jobs or military commissions? If not, I suggest you let them speak for themselves. Your comment remains offensive and you dont seem to care.”

And here is the problem, I DO CARE. I care about this nation and Republic, and the future freedoms and prosperity of our Grandchildren.

LE and the Military are now dishonoring THEIR OWN institutions which were once honorable institutions. They have now chosen to be loyal to the New World Order Communist State over the taxpayers they took an OATH to serve.

Know what is offensive? It is extremely offensive that they have chosen self interest over the future of my Grandchildren and even their own Grandchildren. They themselves earned this new lack of respect with their own actions of cowardice and misplaced loyalties.

And I am not alone with my feelings and new disrespect...

Don’t side track the issue. You do not care that your comment was offensive to many who serve or have served honorably. I would prefer you not continue to message me unless you can acknowledge the many honorable who put a uniform on and swear to uphold the constitution, defend our nation, or serve and protect. I already know there is an element who do not. Focus your ire on that element and don’t generalize. If you can’t do this, I don’t wish to converse with you.
