”You’re attempting character assassination…“

”…Your opinion of me doesn’t change the fact that unless the officer quits he lacks principle and lacks integrity.”

You’re really too myopic to believe.

More names. Good lord, does it ever end with you???

You think this officer had some grand scheme in mind when they made this video? Is that what you’re saying? Myopic? DUDE.

If your employer, regardless of whether they are gov’t or commercial or non-profit, involves themselves in shady or outright illegal acts and you are privy to those acts and do nothing, you understand that you could be held as an accessory to those crimes, right?

So how is this different? If the police department is telling the cops to do unlawful things and the cops either do them, or say nothing about them, that means the cops are either directly criminal or it means they are accessories to criminal acts.

SO from the perspective of principle, if your employer, whom you freely associate with, does something like fetal tissue experimentation which you strongly feel is immoral and you continue to work for them, what does that say about you? If you follow the logic of a criminal act, then YOU ARE AN ACCESSORY to those immoral acts. Your principles are lines which you do not cross. Laws are lines which the government expects us to not cross. ITS NO DIFFERENT. Its just a matter of your personal laws (principles) that you abide by and the laws the government expects us to abide by.

And don’t get me wrong. People have different principles for different reasons and experiences. What is wrong for one person may not be for another and the reasons and reasoning can be entirely insane from my perspective, but true none the less. The point is, if the cop is screaming about really bad illegal unlawful things happening but then going about their day and doing their job, are they not just helping? Could they not quit the job and have their workload fall on someone else, and therefore make that other person overworked to the point that they can’t do the unlawful things?

I realize its more important to you that you be right than I, so i don’t expect much except more ad hominem attacks. But this is what principle and integrity are about. They are lines you don’t cross. They are personal laws that you abide by. And if you are going to scream about such things but not follow through and remove yourself from the situation by resigning your position, then you are aiding and abetting and being an accessory to the crimes you were screaming about.
