On Sunday, Canadian police arrested all the protesters who remained at the most heavily-trafficked bridge between the United States and Canada, as part of the ongoing vaccine mandate protests.
Politico reports that the protesters were arrested near the Ambassador Bridge, which connects the Canadian city of Windsor, Ontario to the American city of Detroit, Michigan, a key hub of the automotive industry; the bridge is responsible for as much as 25 percent of all trade between the two neighboring countries. The few vehicles that remained were towed that same day.
“Enforcement will continue in the demonstration area and there will be zero tolerance for illegal activity,” Windsor police said in a statement after arresting the peaceful protesters. “The public should avoid the area.”
Despite the arresting of protesters in Windsor, the broader anti-mandate protest has continued in the nation’s capital city of Ottawa. Since late January, thousands of protesters, consisting mostly of truck drivers, have occupied the capital near the Parliament building in opposition to mandates requiring all truck drivers to be vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus.
The protests have been largely successful, resulting in multiple provincial governments rescinding various mask and vaccine mandates. However, many wealthy and elite residents of the capital city have demanded a harsh law enforcement crackdown on the protesters for disturbing their daily routines, often by honking their horns, playing loud music, and chanting and cheering.
Artur Wilczynski, a former national security official with Canada’s Communications Security Establishment, angrily tweeted that “the whole city is furious at being abandoned by the people who are supposed to protect us,” and that “they have completely abandoned the rule of law. @OttawaPolice have lost credibility. #OttawaPoliceFailed.”
Another former government official, Catherine McKenna, tweeted that “Amazingly, this isn’t just Ottawa. It’s the nation’s capital.

Castro’s boy thinks that this will help his chances of remaining PM. No one will ever think that this poofter is tough, no matter what he does. He might be wise to move and stay with his uncle Raul.
If Trump were President - well, this wouldn’t be happening.
But with Biden....yeesh. There’ll be no help for those truckers whatsoever.
Castro’s boy thinks that this will help his chances of remaining PM.
The Liberal Party is the only ones that can stop him and it’s full of Castro want-to-bes
that should help the supply chain problems
thanks justin
That’s him.
Prices are going up but why are they doubling
The karma of fools. Canada will feel this tyrannical action.
There aren’t enough jail cells to house all the truckers and protesters. Justine is going to push Canadians over the line.
Justin: "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Did I say that first or did John Wayne?"
Justin has more arrows in his quiver than what the truckers have.
protests have been largely successful
__________
I’ve heard of protests being mostly peaceful. By which is meant, violent, but we dont want people to know this.
When I read “largely successful”, shall I translate this as “These pipsqueak protesters are doomed to ultimate failure, but because we are condescending poofters, and we want the protesters to quit before achieving ultimate success, we are saying the opposite.”?

Or just find his ‘Che’ and start shooting them.
Police enforce communism. The sooner people on here realize that, the better.
Was that a Rothschild next to Fidel?
Justin Castro does his father Fidel proud........../s
I’m sure the left is wetting their pants with joy over this.
But imagine what they would’ve said if Trump forced people in Portland’s “Autonomous Zone” out.
BTW, I’m with protesting against totalitarian government but I’m not so sure about blocking traffic.
Yep.
