Two harrowing examples show the stark differences between COVID treatment in red and blue states.
There is no lack of stark contrast between the way conservative/red states and liberal/blue states have handled the COVID crisis over the past two years.
I live in Massachusetts, Land o' Warren, home to the biggest destructively phony RINO of all time, Governor Charlie Baker, surrounded by über-liberal Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Bernieland. It is CNN/MSNBC-style groupthink around here, to the point where the daily headlines and news stories seem like caricatures of themselves, as if no one could actually believe the stuff they're saying. But the vast majority of people here actually say it, and they truly believe it.

Here are two striking examples:
1. "Beth D" (I am intentionally changing her name) contracted a severe case of COVID delta in the fall of 2021. She was virtually unable to breathe or function. Married with two young children, no local Massachusetts doctor or hospital would admit her or see her because she was unvaccinated. None. Let that sink in and register. "Get vaccinated" was their only response. Desperate to survive, Beth contacted an out-of-state rogue doctor who was willing to prescribe ivermectin and treat her with the full array of "unpolitically approved" medicines and methods. Beth recovered, after callously being left close to death by a Massachusetts medical system dominated by liberal ideology instead of sane, compassionate medical practices.
2. I am unvaccinated, having chosen to reject the vaccine for all the well known reasons. I am in my sixties, generally in excellent health, active and athletic, at pretty much my college weight. I also have a chronic auto-immune disease (multiple sclerosis), which can flare up quite badly from time to time, causing extreme muscle/leg weakness and temporary immobility.

I wonder if there is future liability for hospitals that refused treatment or medical procedures on people because they hag not gotten the jab?
I’m in MA. My doctor retired and I have to find a new one. I’m putting it off because I think I know how the visit will go (no vaccine for me). I don’t think I would be at all civil with some quack who pushed medical experiments on me while I’m healthy. I wouldn’t even try to be polite.
Taking any vax while you’re sick will just make you sicker.
The wheels fall off the wagon when they mention “vaccine.” There are no vaccinations. Vaccines would stop the spread of the virus. Whatever fluid they are injecting in to peoples bodies they certainly cannot be considered a vaccine. So when someone offers you a vaccine you simply have to ask them, ‘will this injection prevent me from acquiring covid?’ Any doctor on this planet cannot answer that question in the affirmative. When they refer to lessening the severity of contracting covid if you get the injection you simply have to ask them for the pseudoscientific data that they can refer you to so you can “study” it to determine your next action.
I don’t know how the medical establishment got sucked into this. Did they forget how to think for themselves?
Medicine has been corrupt for a very long time. Cures that don’t make money for Big Med/Big Pharma get suppressed. Cancer, arthritis, and pain are the big money makers.
My Chicago NorthShore doctor refused to treat me unless I was ready for a ventilator. I’ve been sick with COVID for 10 days now, and suffered through very severe body pain for days, and no amount of over the counter pain meds even made a dent in the pain. Only a family member who had some prescription pain meds was able to help.
My doctor couldn’t have been less interested in helping or treating me. Never asked questions, never followed up, etc. No interest in treating COVID. Time for a new doctor.
Boy, can I personally vouch for this one...
Most of Big Med’s practioners sold their souls for a regular paycheck and a government granted license to practice.
What Deep State giveth, Deep State can taketh away.

Corporatist / fascist organizations operate under a rigid organizational structure where questioning those above results in sanctions or terminations. The end result is any independent thinkers who might disrupt the system are, over time, expelled from the system leaving the organization more and more ideologically “pure” and unquestioning of authority.
Corporatist “ideologically pure” organizations exist in businesses, the military, governments. They “work” until they don’t. When such organizations encounter a situation outside the expected, the same “purity” of thought is now a detriment as they lack anyone who can propose a unique solution. In such circumstances, these organizations can implode suddenly and dramatically.

And diabetes. They know FULL WELL how people can offset the effects of diabetes (the same way they did before insulin), but instead they simply won’t tell them. Just no money in that approach.

It’s easy. Everyone wants to get paid, don’t you? This guarantees it. Look at how landlords like Sec. 8 housing.
Its not just blue states. Right now if you contract covid you do not want to go to a hospital in Atlanta. They will cheerfully kill you.
My unvaccinated son was admitted to Newton-Wellesley without issue this Fall, he was supposed to be transferred to Brigham and Women’s but they dragged their feet. He ended up staying in Newton for a couple of weeks and finally discharged.
Maybe it has changed but if you show up by ambulance in Mass they can’t refuse to treat you.
I’ve been seeing about one doctor a week for the past two years, their opinions are all over the map just like the rest of us.
