Well, that is one distinct set of genres to be associated with. Both groups have done well.

Bummer. Only 75, not that old.
I loved Court of the crimson king. Saw them perform it at Celebrity Theatre here in Phx and it was not like those awful concerts today where they jam in extra rows of seats and you are all like sardines.
But when they got to 21st Century Schizoid Man some young skinny long haired hippy started dancing frantically up and down the aisle next to me and since I was in about the third row I could easily see the band trying deperately ‘not to notice’. Bet they talked about that after the show.
McDonald was very talented. I feel bad hearing all these old great guys go.
It’s not going to be a good decade for classic rock guys, I fear.
Now he talks to the wind...
In The Court Of The Crimson King is going on the turntable tonight.
I thought he’d outlive Lou Graham. I’m glad the two of them reconciled some time ago.
(dum, dum, dum) You’re as cold as ice!
(sorry, couldn’t help it).
While I was headbanging to King Crimson back in the day I also thought “I Talk to the Wind” was one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs ever.
IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING OFFICIAL TRAILER
“Official Trailer for the long awaited documentary “In The Court of the Crimson King” by Toby Amies. An official selection for the 2022 SXSW film festival, with a world premiere in Austin in March.
What began as a traditional documentary about the legendary band King Crimson as it turned 50, mutated into an exploration of time, death, family, and the transcendent power of music to change lives; but with jokes.”
