Poor sleep can triple risk for heart disease
Medical Xpress / University of South Florida / Scientific Reports. ^ | Feb. 7, 2022 | Soomi Lee et al

Individual aspects of poor sleep can be detrimental to heart health. But if you combine them, the risk of heart disease can increase by as much as 141 percent.

Researchers focused on multiple aspects of sleep health, such as regularity, satisfaction, alertness during waking hours, timing of sleep, sleep efficiency and sleep duration and linked them to physician-diagnosed heart disease. They found that each additional increase in self-reported sleep health problems was associated with a 54 percent increased risk of heart disease. The estimated risk of heart disease associated with an increase in sleep health problems was much higher for those who provided sleep data by both self-report and the research device. They had a 141 percent increase—a figure that could be perceived to be more accurate.

"These findings show the importance of assessing 'co-existing sleep health problems' within an individual to capture the risk of heart disease. This is one of the first studies showing that among well-functioning adults in midlife, having more sleep health problems may increase the risk of heart disease," said Soomi Lee, assistant professor. "The higher estimated risk in those who provided both self-report and actigraphy sleep data suggests that measuring sleep health accurately and comprehensively is important to increase the prediction of heart disease."

Researchers found that while women reported having more sleep health problems, men were more likely to suffer heart disease—yet gender did not impact the overall correlation between the two factors. They also found that Black participants had more sleep health problems and a higher prevalence of heart disease than white participants, but the strong association between sleep health and heart disease did not differ by race in general.

They are items to help with benign prostate hyperplasia.

Do you have those concerns? If so, how bad would you say it is?

Undiagnosed sleep apnea is a silent killer.

If you wake up more than twice a month with dull headache, pounding heart, feeling like you hardly slept when it’s been six or more hours... ANY of these by itself may indicate you should see a pulmonologist, and maybe campaign for an in-clinic sleep study.

I had a coworker in his thirties diagnosed with heart disease that later traced to apnea he’d never known about. He got a hanle on that, but damage had already been done.

I woke one morning with AFib out of the clear blue sky and five hours later the cardiologist was just going to put me on statins and add me to his roster. A friend in respiratory medicine said, “Hold off on the drugs; go see a pulmonologist, first; you might be an apnea case.” I did. I am. Second worst in the doctor’s practice, and my physiology gave zero hints.

If you would like a couple other items we've taken to help with a good night's sleep, for both men and women, they are:

1. L-theanine
2. L-tyrosine
3. Glycine

The above shouldn't be a problem for anyone to take. There are benefits to taking these three during the day, as well. We actually make tyrosine and glycine through the day in our bodies. Theanine is in tea and is responsible for a calm feeling one can get. I believe it also blocks caffeine from receptors.

Something that can also provide a feeling of calm, while reducing stress, is magnolia bark or its extract, “honokiol.”

More on this:

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/sleep-newzzz/201809/is-magnolia-bark-the-missing-link-your-sleep-and-health

We have the “Swanson Superior Herbs Magnolia Extract,” originally bought for a health issue my wife occasionally has, but I've taken it, too.

Do note Magnolia/Honokiol can interfere with some drugs, though.

Please consider getting a doctor to help you find your root cause for that. Sleep apnea and a host of other issues can eat at you, such as PTSD.

Three hours is simply not optimal for anyone.

Was anything noted of consequence?

The items listed in posts 8 and 24 are worth reviewing, but I imagine you’ve tried a lot of them, already.

It’s seems that someone really wants us to remember that heart attacks are very common. Especially in young men who play sports.

The murderers with medical degrees who are pushing the clot shots wants the fools in society to think it's NOT THE FRAUDCI SHOT raising the risk of heart attacks.

Dr Gundry has been testing 566 patients for EIGHT YEARS. They had an average baseline of about 11%. After the clot shots, the average went to about 25%. So in FIVE years, you have a 25% chance of a cardiac event, DOUBLE what it was before the shot.

You'd have to be an idiot to take an additional booster of the poison death shots if you were foolish enough to take the first set of poison shots. This MURDER by the government and the medical criminals needs to be stopped immediately and the criminals need to be tried for murder-politicians, doctors, rich boys like Gates etc.-and then they need to hang them.
