Explanation: Welcome to planet Earth, the third planet from a star named the Sun. The Earth is shaped like a sphere and composed mostly of rock. Over 70 percent of the Earth's surface is water. The planet has a relatively thin atmosphere composed mostly of nitrogen and oxygen. The featured picture of Earth, dubbed The Blue Marble, was taken from Apollo 17 in 1972 and features Africa and Antarctica. It is thought to be one of the most widely distributed photographs of any kind. Earth has a single large Moon that is about 1/4 of its diameter and, from the planet's surface, is seen to have almost exactly the same angular size as the Sun. With its abundance of liquid water, Earth supports a large variety of life forms, including potentially intelligent species such as dolphins and humans. Please enjoy your stay on planet Earth.

With all that white it must be a racist creation. Time to spin that marble, mix things up, and even out the temperatures all around.
Average temperature is 61 degrees Fahrenheit. I prefer 68 or so. Need more warming.
Our planet as seen from space is so beautiful.
And it's a dandy. It'll make your stay on this thread even more enjoyable.
This is what I have now, for a 'pet image" as my desktop...:)
This is a blue marble earth.
$2.51 ea.
$2.16 in lots of 1000.
who would think there is intelligent life there?
It’s an open question.
Well, who won?
His brother from the same litter, is black and white and about a third larger, and is as gentle as can be, he won't scratch or bite. His teeth may touch your skin, or he may lash out with his paw when you mess with him, but there is never the intent to bite and the claws are always retracted on him.

However, if you rough up the crazy one, he may go ballistic...he just gets carried away, no self control. When they are wrestling, he has less control and will bite the other one too hard, resulting in a screech...even though the black and white one could kick his butt.
Hard to believe the come from the same litter, but when you look at their markings, it is unmistakable:
My wife picked them up a few years ago, and I am grateful to her. My job can be stressful, and it is nice when I come home and they appear to me when I walk in and are very dog-like. They keep my blood pressure down!
Ours do the same for me.
And thank goodness for that.
Right you are.
Recently one of the little buggers told me and the wife she didn’t want to be called a cat anymore.
Said from now on she wanted to be known as a “Feline-American’’.
Yeah, ok. There’s going to be some issues here.
