What is new not already known?
When I moved to Florida in 2016, it was mainly so no need to fly to catch a cruise. To my surprise, Florida has well exceeded my expectations. OK, so the summers are very hot and humid. And there are gators and snakes galore, but those can be easily avoided.

I heard about a couple that moved east from Oregon, because they wanted to move back to the USA.
I’ve lived here for over 40 years, and aside from watching yourself in the lakes and mud bogs, gators and snakes don’t generally bother you. It’s the damn skeeters you have to watch out for.
The mosquitoes are annoying parasites, but not nearly as dangerous as the .gov parasites.
For the love of god, stop.
STFU. Everybody, the summers make you want to die. Snakes and gators are just the beginning of this swamp hell. When you vacation here, it is just an illusion. Nobody in there right mind wants to live here. You heard of Florida man, right? Save your family and your sanity. Do not move to Florida.
22 years ago I decided the Boeing company was going in the wrong direction and decided to leave. I had job offers in AK, FLA, and HI.
It was wife’s turn to pick the next home and she chose HI.
I’m still not happy that she didn’t choose FLA because there is much more freedom there than here in Hawaii.
Hawaii would be better off returning to a monarchy and executing all the Stalinazi Demonrats holding office there.
For me it’s the No See Ums. Their bites stay with you for days, their bites are fiery and they love me.
Yes, no one in their right mind would want to live here - it’s horrible! So please don’t move here - unless you’re a dedicated conservative with financial means or marketable skills to support yourself and your family. Otherwise you’ll be miserable…
