Pa. Football Coach, 40, Dies One Day After Landing ‘Dream Job’

A newly hired high school football coach was supposed to appear for a signing ceremony Wednesday after just landing his dream job. A day later, he was dead.

The tragic story comes from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which reports that Coach Ron Frederick, just hired to lead Southmoreland High School’s varsity football team, died suddenly on Thursday of unknown causes.

Details from the Post-Gazette:

Frederick, 40, was a 1999 Southmoreland graduate and former offensive lineman. He had just interviewed for his alma mater’s vacant head coach position on Tuesday in Westmoreland County.

On Wednesday, Frederick was informed by school officials that his hiring as head coach would be made official at the next school board meeting, the Post-Gazette writes.

Also Wednesday, Frederick was expected at a small “signing ceremony” for Southmoreland senior Kory Ansell, who signed to play at California University of Pa. But Frederick didn’t show up because Frederick wasn’t feeling well, the newspaper reports. (Further details below)

Word of Frederick’s sudden death Thursday has shocked the western Pa. football community.

“When something like this happens, it just shakes you to your core,” said Dave Keefer, Southmoreland’s previous head coach and Frederick’s friend and colleague. “I’m pretty broken up.”

Added Southmoreland athletic director Dan Boring to the Post-Gazette:

“Talking to our principal, Mr. (Dan) Krofcheck, he said it best about Ron. This was his dream to be the head coach at Southmoreland. The way he portrayed himself in the interview, the way he went about things, he was just so excited and was always excited to be part of this program and district.”

Frederick leaves behind his wife, Liz, and three children, Sophia, Colin and Dylan.

Yeah, I am glad for you also. It was perhaps a warning for you, but was not your time to go, thankfully. 🙂

Yes, I am well aware of that. Also, I stated in this thread, that I would never take these "vaccines", because they are not such. I have furthermore stated that my first question is; Did they take the vaccine, and if so, when?

So, you see I am well versed about these so-called vaccines. I am all too aware of the massive issues with these incorrectly labeled as vaccines that no one knows what they contain, and they want a 75 year window to release data. They must have something to hide. 😋

I was merely responding that these deaths do occur, that they usually occur suddenly, that the case I was aware of was decades ago now, but I doubt they happened all the time pre-plandemic. Are they happening more often now? My opinion is they are, but that I have no data that makes my opinion a sold conviction that they are occurring more often.

I knew of this couple, and the husband died suddenly, and quite unexpectedly. I'm not sure if he was even 40, but they did have young kids. The couple were friends of my next door neighbor. This was long before these Covid-19 "vaccines" were even a thing, I might add.

Yes! But what did he die OF?

Just a means to an end to speculate and guess. [...] Pathetic, but not surprising given a small number of FReepers who resort to this tactic.

Well, if the article would just come right out and SAY what the Cause of Death was, we wouldn't be forced to discuss this in a VACUUM, now, would we?

My brother dropped dead around 35 years ago, while walking on the street at age 39. Boom! he was gone. These things do happen. He left three kids, the youngest age 2 months.

That sucks, to be sure! Sorry about your brother.

But was he struck by a meteor, killed by a stray bullet, struck down by a brain aneurysm, or what?

My point is that, in these times, a "Cause of Death" should be de rigueur when reporting these things.

It happened to me at age 47, healthy female with no history of heart issues with me nor in my family. Went into cardiac arrest twice in the ambulance, will be forever grateful to EMTs who de-fibbed me.

Vital info missing from your little story: What got you into the ambulance in the FIRST PLACE?

A heart condition. This had to be back in the 90s.

My point was that this does happen, however, I don't think it was all that common. But it does happen. So, perhaps in time we will know what the actual cause was, but I certainly will not hold my breath with all the shenanigans that have taken place with this engineered virus. But maybe an undertaker will speak out, if there are anomalies discovered when prepping the deceased person.

"...Bizarre gardening accident? ..."

Hey - those chipmunks can be DANGEROUS!
On at least one occasion I narrowly escaped with my life.
When it comes to tomatoes, those little buggers can be voracious...

LOL - I was actually at an industrial medical facility taking a treadmill test for a work certification. Had the MI right then and there. Dr. in charge called EMTs to transport me to hospital. Cardiac arrest happened during transport. It’s a looong story, probably boring to everyone but me...

Ivermectin saves lives? - Not enough studies to prove it Literally dozens of studies prove it. - I don’t like those studies.

If you are referring to the site https://ivmmeta.com/ several of those studies apparently utilized fraud.

An MD and another researcher went through all of the studies shown on that site as of ~11/15/21.

Their complete, detailed report is here:

https://astralcodexten.substack.com/p/ivermectin-much-more-than-you-wanted Their findings:

Ivermectin doesn’t reduce mortality in COVID a significant amount (let’s say d > 0.3) in the absence of comorbid parasites: 85-90% confidence

Parasitic worms are a significant confounder in some ivermectin studies, such that they made them get a positive result even when honest and methodologically sound: 50% confidence

Fraud and data processing errors are of similar magnitude to p-hacking and methodological problems in explaining bad studies (95% confidence interval for fraud: between >1% and 5% as important as methodological problems; 95% confidence interval for data processing errors: between 5% and 100% as important)

I agree that we need facts. But, do you see why people are cynical, when it sounds like pharmaceutical companies and regulators seem to go out of their way to ignore potential problems? It's not speculation to say there is a long term track record of pharmaceutical companies willfully, or negligently hiding deaths caused by their products.

I agree and am one of those cynical people.

And pharmaceutical companies have a poor track record of public confidence.

But then why do critics go off on paths that lead to nowhere?

We get whack job critics that claim COVID-19 vaccinations cause magnetism, or 5G interference, or that there are not isolated samples of SARS-CoV-2, or that the government of Japan approved Ivermectin for use, etc.

Instead of sticking to what is known, people post articles here that care not one whit about those that have died due to a heart attack, etc - as they are too busy suggesting or outright claiming it's due to a COVID-19 vaccination. Or that mock those that have been vaccinated. Thankfully, it's a small group of 50-75 FReepers that post those kinds of comments.

I said "Let me guess."

Your comment was snarky at the expense of someone who had died. Not a good look.

Isn't that a decision for the FAMILY?

Yes - and in the current political climate (with Covid being cited as a justification for severely limiting our civil liberties, and with anecdotal evidence and individual newspaper obits being used to rhetorically manipulate public opinion and buttress such restrictions), it would be my decision to label that family as *ssholes for "discreetly" omitting that vital info from the obit.

Like in the 80s, when some famous suspected homosexual would die in his 40s, and the obits would "dance around" the Cause of Death instead of coming right out and saying: AIDS. Disgusting!
