Free-agent NFL head coaching candidate Brian Flores is suing the league and three teams, the Miami Dolphins, the New York Giants and Denver Broncos, over hiring practices.
According to the complaint, Flores is alleging race discrimination when it comes to coaching personnel decisions in the NFL. Among many complaints, the lawsuit chides the NFL’s “Rooney Rule,” which requires NFL teams to conduct at least one in-person interview with a minority candidate for all head coaching vacancies.
“However, well intentioned or not, what is clear is that the Rooney Rule is not working,” the complaint reads.
Currently there is only one black coach in the NFL, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin. There are 32 teams in the league.

The equity would call for doubling the number of head coaches and reducing the 70% players that are Black down to 15%.

Of course Dolphins management has been screwed up for years. They pretty much sabotaged Nick Saban when he was there.
And they’re over represented as players.
Time to release black players until they are at 13% of players.
He has a real case here. This is a pretty BFF in the sports world.
Jacksonville just hired Byron Leftwich.
So if blacks are 12% of the population, then all they need is one more head coach, and they pretty much will be representated.

70% of NFL players are black. 14% of the US population are black. Clearly, there has to be a moratorium on the hiring of black players, and serious recruitment in the white, Hispanic, and Asian communities./S
Nope just 1. 3 at the beginning of the season, 2 got fired, both are probably bad firings given the roster situations. You can definitely argue they both over achieved.

The NFL should assign all of the players by race. In other words, 62% should be white, 16.9% Hispanic, 12.6% Black, 5.2% Asian. The question is, do we have enough Hispanics? The Dallas Cowboys have a decent reserve Offensive Lineman that is hispanic. Do we have enough Asians? We seem to have plenty of Blacks to pool from. If we are going to deal in racial quotas, let us stick to the numbers. I will support the NFL the same as I have for the last two years if they do that. Which means, not at all.... (major sarcasm intended).
Most problematic issue will be allegation that he was offered $100k
per game to tank.

Soooo,he was fired for being a BAD coach, not because he’s a BLACK coach. Flores probably mis-heard “You’re FIRED ‘cause you’re BAD”.

Well this all starts with college recruiting.
So mandate this down one level, have Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, etc with scholarships for Hispanics and Asians.
