Charlize Theron shared a rare image of her daughters Jackson, 10, and August, seven, as she celebrated her mother Gerda's birthday on Thursday.
The 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress posted a slideshow of photos on her Instagram page to mark the occasion.
'Today is my moms birthday. I wanted to share her with all of you because anyone who knows her, knows how utterly awesome it’s is to stand in her sunlight,' Charlize gushed in the caption.
The actress continued, 'She TRULY is life. She laughs louder than anyone I’ve ever met.
'She’s a great tennis player/golfer/hiker AND a gifted s*** talker! She’s direct, she’s honest, she funny, and she’ll tell you how it is anytime of the day!'
The South African native concluded with a sentence in Africaans: 'Ma, ek lief jou oor die maan.'
The sentence translates to 'Ma, I love you over the moon.'
In the image, Gerda, Jackson and August were seen hiking through the woods. Gerda wrapped her arm around her eldest granddaughter's shoulders.
August leaned her head on her sister's arm as the trio smiled at the camera.
The Mad Max: Fury Road star began her carousel of photos with a black and white photo in which she was seen beaming alongside her mother as the two wore matching floral tops.
The next snap appeared to be taken on Halloween. Charlize donned a black witch's hat while sitting next to Gerda, who was dressed up in a bright green caterpillar costume over a blue and white striped top.
The Bombshell actress shared a throwback photo of a younger Gerda relaxing on a beach.
She also added a cute shot in which she wore a flower tucked behind her ear as she kissed her mom on the cheek.

She is destroying at least one of her sons, rasing him as female. Unkown if she is chemically or surgically mutilating him yet. Hopefully he survives her abuse, but a dark future ahead.

So how can a wacky activist like her accept when that kid hits puberty and decides to be a boy again? Probably she can’t because that will prove she and her fellow travelers abuse children by listening to the gender “choices” of 3 year olds.

Reminds me of the young boy that wanted to be a girl. The parents were all on board. The boy wanted to change his name to a girl's. The parents thought that was a good idea.
So the boy said he wanted to change his name to Princess Celestia after his favorite “My Pony” character. The parents got him down to Celeste.
