Ugh, flying car.
So instead of drive-by shootings we will have fly-by shootings. Now that's what I call progress!

I’m waiting for the Jetsons personal flying saucer clip.

Won’t fit in my garage. It looks kind of like an airplane dressed up as a car.
To: Twotone
As if meandering cars on roads and freeways isn’t bad enough.

Yeah, I’m wondering how many people would actually have space for it, not to mention landing and taking off in an urban environment full of trees and telephone wires, and with narrow roads. You’d basically have to keep it an airport, and take off and land at an airport, kind of like (drum roll) an airplane.
To: Magnum44
Pretty close. It folds up into a sportscar.
Watch the maiden flight video, which shows folding and unfolding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAnIjwwzupI

To: Magnum44
LOL That was my point. The thing in the photo is basically an airplane with a body made to look like a car.
To: Steve_Seattle
No, you would NOT have to keep it at the airport. It FOLDS UP.

It has a hands-off drunk driver mode for takeoffs and landings. Nancy Pelosi model crash test dummies were used for this part of the certification process.
