Amid growing talk of Tom Brady retiring, it’s important to look back on what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said about his marriage with Gisele Bundchen.
Back in the fall, Brady admitted that retirement was a “very difficult issue” in his marriage to the supermodel.
Naturally, Gisele would prefer for Brady to retire so he could spend more time with friends and family members.
“But that’s an issue, and it’s a very difficult issue to reconcile without just saying, ‘Hey, it’s time to retire.’ And I think there’s, you know, we’re coming to the end here too, so I don’t want to miss any of the kids’ stuff,” Brady told his co-hosts, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.
“I think my wife has, you know, held down the house for a long time now, and I think there’s things that she wants to accomplish. You know, she hasn’t worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to being in a life in Boston and then moving to Florida.”
Brady, 44, is reportedly non-committal on the 2022 season and beyond.

However, I think he should leave now, and go out on a blaze of glory. He won last year's Superbowl. He's won 7 of them.
Time to give it up is now as the GOAT.
Really...what more has he to prove? Enjoy your family while you still can.....
The Bucs are a mess. I think they pretty much peaked, and were fortunate to get as far as they did this year, and most of that was Brady. But I don’t see how they can now make another run. They were also beneficiaries, like the Cowboys, of playing in a very weak division this year.
For the kids, stop saying ‘you know’.
“The SPUN” is one of the most useless, gossip triggering outlet in sports.
I suspect Brady will wait and see what the Bucs will do in the off-season, if they bring in some help, I think Brady will come back. But they need a lot of help.
I don’t think the better team won, yesterday, but that’s football.
He wouldn’t be going out on a blaze of glory if he retires now. He needs to win another SB and THEN retire to do that.
That said. If he retires now, it would be like Babe Ruth retiring while’s he’s still hitting 50 HRs a year.
He wanted to go out on top
But if he retires so young, what will his family do for money? /s

Why is this nonsense here?
didnt she make more money than him?
Rams were a much better team than Tampa, the dumb turnovers were the only reason the game was as close as it was. But they should have pretty much routed Tampa, given the difference in personnel.
I suspect when you are driven and talented enough to be the best in the world at what you do it’s very hard to quit. Especially when you are utterly certain there’s no one who can take over and do your job as well as you can.
Go out on top! At his age, he runs a greater risk of hurtin something real bad. Football isnt for middle age guys.
I think Brady and Rogers go in the off season.
His blaze of glory was last season when his team did win the Super Bowl. Doubtful that he will win another one.
