The Bucs are a mess. I think they pretty much peaked, and were fortunate to get as far as they did this year, and most of that was Brady. But I don’t see how they can now make another run. They were also beneficiaries, like the Cowboys, of playing in a very weak division this year.
I watched the first part of the game and noticed that Brady was basically out on the field by himself. The offensive line could not hold and the defense looked like they were trying to lose the game.
So I was shocked to turn back at the end and see the score was tied.
The minute Brady leaves, Gronk leaves, and the Bucs become the 7-10, just-below-average football team that they were for the previous two decades after the 2003 Super Bowl.
Slightly off topic, but the same thing will happen in the next two years with the Lightning, when Vasilevsky, Stephen Stamkos and Nikita Khrushchev (OK, it's Kucherov, but when you're a Boomer everything is the Cuban Missile Crisis) all retire.
The Rays? Anyone's guess.
Yep. Three Unsportsman-like conduct penalties in the 1st half. That does not speak well to Arian's coaching abilities.
