The same people who demanded lockdowns now upset about the consequences of lockdowns. Morons!
Public schools no longer teach reasoning. This is clear based on 99% of K-12 graduates believing in man made climate change yet cannot cite one fact.
My wife and I talk about that all the time.
Am I being manipulated? Are these “facts” real or not? Why is this person an expert? Did that first statement contradict the second statement? Why do I believe the things that I believe?
The schools seems focused on making sure that students cannot answer any questions like that. Just obey, and everything will be under control.
Since the dawn of time. Too bad the media fuels it rather than investigates it.
LOL-—The bottom line of the report-—”It’s everyone’s fault but Biden’s)-—Hoarders, manufacturers, supply chain, raw materials——But guess what’s causing that you woke idiots?
Interesting timing. My new 6 week old grandson who was born a preemie is having a hard go of it. Was losing weight with breastmilk, his pediatrician who I have been friends with since elementary school has tried him on formula, soy formula, and he wants him on a specialty formula now made by Similac called Alimentum.
We found some pre-mixed bottles of it at our local Meijers which would have got her by for a few days, but we have been all over trying to find it in powder form. My daughter and her husband went to 8 different stores yesterday looking for it, they all had spots for it but they were all empty. Wife and I walked into our local CVS and found 7 cans of it there out of sheer luck. At $36.79 a can believe me, my daughter would GLADLY have stuck with breastmilk if she could have.
This story above is unfortunately very true for many parents right now, especially out in the rural areas where you don’t have a lot of options for sources. We of course tried on line first, but even Amazon is completely out of this stuff right now. Not all women do well with producing breastmilk either, I was glad my daughter, who is a NICU nurse as well and knows all the benefits, really wanted to do it but it just didn’t work out best for the baby.
I noticed that too, along with the empty cough syrup section, and I went to four separate stores over the weekend. We usually keep cough syrup on hand, just in case. Our current unopened bottle is dated best by October 2021, so I thought about getting a replacement bottle. I guess we'll have to live with *expired* cough syrup the rest of winter.
isn't that funny and entirely predicable
We fed “baby food” to our children. You merely have to smash and strain regular food.
When my nephew could not hold any formula down an was losing weight (had a cleft palate too), my mom gave that recipe to my sister in law. It was the only thing he could tolerate and thrived wonderfully because of it. It was scary for a little while
Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m wondering/surprised she didn’t pump.
One would have thought 6-9 months ago Brandon would have a supply chain committee to study, predict and prevent. No leadership. Nobody denies the issue, but to blame it on everything but Biden is unacceptable. Anyone who can fog a mirror would have a plan in place to ameliorate these necessity item shortages.
You’re kidding right? Milk glands don’t have a lot to do with breast size.
Nursing works.
One thing I always disagreed with Rush about - he always had modern leftists pegged as smart. The entire edifice of leftist thought is devolutionary and moronic - demonstrably so at this point - but they keep at it.
Granted that neo-communists are crafty, committed and exceedingly patient - but so are snakes.
Baby food isn’t given to new borns tho. Milk is.
Its not like they needed instruction on how to "make" the baby. How did we ever evolve into this and survive our own stupidity?
Well, this is what the lefties voted for.
It’s bigger than just his office though.
Does he deserve a portion of the blame? Of course, but not all of it. I own a tool and die business, and believe me there is no quick answer to what we are seeing right now.
Even if Trump were in office we would be seeing this though perhaps not as severe is all. When you move to a world supply chain for necessary items for cost reductions you open your doors for this to happen. So many people don’t understand that getting maintenance parts now for the crap they bought when times were good and the supply chain was working fine is causing a big portion of the breakdown we are seeing.
I just built a mold that makes a urethane ring that seals cast aluminum auto rims for testing leaks. The machine was made in China and has these wear parts that need replacing. Shut the entire line down because the Chinese couldn’t get the parts over here. This is just one example of thousands of cascading problems going on now.
I hate Biden with a passion, but this is in no way entirely his fault alone. My customer I built the mold for now can’t get the grade of liquid urethane HE needs to make the parts either, he had enough on the shelf to make a few to get them going, but is looking all over the world to get more in time to keep it from happening again.
No, Tagline explains it.
Oh, I know you’re right and I’m not implying that every mother feeding her baby formula is a Horrible Parent.
