A “one-of-a-kind” house has hit the real estate market in Illinois for $1.17 million. While some might marvel at its elegant finishes and custom mill-work, one popular social media page is taking aim at one specific bedroom and asking the question everyone is thinking:
Is that a...tree?

Probably not real wood. Ask the question how did they get it in there?
There are LOTS of ex-Californians in North Idaho who are political refugees. All the California ex-pats we know in CdA / Post Falls / Hayden / Rathdrum are all very conservative.
Yeah, they Californicated Oregon, and now they have their sights on Idaho.
Role play night.
At first I was going to ask why anyone would expect me to pay that much for a house that didnt have at least one tree in it. Now I understand. Who wants a dead tree in the house?
I think it looks rather good. You can sit on one of the branches to get changed in the morning. As others mentioned, cats will like it.
Best news I’ve heard all day. Will tell my daughter. She’s thinking of selling their gorgeous home near Priest River and moving up to Colville. Yuk, so far from me.
Chainsaw, even though it would be messy, you could clean it up and remove it. I question how it got in there.
Why move to Insleestan? No good will come of that.
The last picture reminds me of a conversation I had heard at my first duty base while monitoring the autovon lines. There are some strange things that happen out in those woods.
It’s...giving me a strong creep vibe.
Bunch of her husband’s relatives up there, especially young ones raising new families. Unable to have kids of their own, my daughter and SIL want to be involved in kids’ lives. All Republicans of course.
I could move up too...they’re already planning their new home to include space for me. But I’m entrenched in Spokane with good friends, best med care I ever had, terrific stores, etc etc. Cat is an issue, as daughter is allergic , has four dogs, and I’m not about to dump my dearest DaisyJane.
Naw, don’t like it. Hurdles to open the windows...no thanks.
Is the tree alive? It looks barren of bark and therefore dead.
I’d embed glass and barbed wired on it...
A “gimmick” is “a trick or device intended to attract attention.” And all gimmicks become boring in about three hours. That branch is a gimmick and well, just boring at this point of my reply.
those branches are dead, so they will not increase in diameter not will the branch lengthen and the location of branches don’t change with time. The remaining tree sections may be alive and grow into the house though.
Recycling!
Or maybe for a Flying Gammahooch......
