lol...vaccinnated and “almost died”. I’m not vaxxed, got COVID and was nowhere close to dying.
This is close to what our neighbors said after they caught the latest version of the flu that tests positive for COVID. “It could have been so much worse if we hadn’t been vaccinated.”
Doctors still hold the lofty position of tribal sage and shaman. They are not to be questioned.
That makes a lot of sense. Broadcasting is about drama. “If I hadn’t been vaccinated I would have died” sounds more dramatic than, “I was sick as a dog despite having been vaccinated”.
It’s that black people have more melanin in their skin, which affects ability to synthesize Vitamin D.
Their skin and facial features are well adapted to the African Nation and it’s climate. While nostrils and larger lips assist in breathing in very hot climates. And the skin and oils help prevent sun damage. Which is why they don’t show their age.

I dont have it. It started out when i was looking up the revelation on oas1 and covid and it popped up somewhere.
I have a higher percentage of neanderthal genes than many...and actually might be where might thalassemia came from...
So when i came across it i was trying to correlate with my genes but one of the pertinent ones wasnt sequenced on me yet

Then they changed it to they prevent serious covid and hospital.(said often by pro-vax FReepers despite the literature above) Now it 'may' prevent you from dying.
Where can they go from here? Maybe they'll say, without proof, there would be a lot more deaths without vax? Would have died a worse death without vax?
My vaccinated wife got it over a week ago. It really hit her hard, but she is getting better now. Although I haven’t slept in the bedroom since she became ill; I’ve definitely been exposed in our humble little home. I’m sure my friends and relatives who have hounded me for not getting vaccinated are miffed that she got it and so far I have not. Maybe it is the vitamins that have kept me from getting sick so far. I have a dental appointment today so I called them yesterday to tell of my exposure. They weren’t concerned and told me I could keep my appointment.

Don’t know if people saying “the vax saved me” are doing it because they really believe it or due to social pressure. As for my family, every one who got the vax except one got the CV at least once, and some of them twice. The ones that didn’t get vaxxed got sick once and got over it days sooner than the vaxxed. YRMV
I just tested positive yesterday. Blocked sinuses are my only symptom. I have had this symptom since 2 AM on Sat. morning. Working in a nursing home, I am off for five days. BIG DEAL.

FYI: My friend was NOT vaccinated and died last week. No co-morbidities.
