Another midterm worry for Biden White House: probes and impeachment attempts

The U.S. midterm elections are some 10 months away, but President Biden's administration and allies already foresee a possible scenario in which Republicans take the House of Representatives, the Senate, or both, and launch a series of investigations and attempts to impeach the president.

It hired a special advisor, former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, to oversee implementation of the $1 trillion infrastructure law, which Republicans would likely scrutinize in search of fraud.

"They’ll subpoena everything under the sun," said Richard Painter, former associate counsel under Republican President George W. Bush.

“We are going to go after this administrative state, and we are going to start at the Department of Justice and the FBI,” Gaetz said, referring to Jan 6.

Some Republicans have already signaled an appetite for impeaching Biden, with a group of four led by Gibbs filing articles of impeachment over immigration on the U.S. border with Mexico and for the way U.S. troops were removed from Afghanistan.

“There will be a lot of this Hunter stuff, and a lot of it is going to be unfair to Biden, and a lot of it is going to be personal,” Painter predicted.

“Payback is a mother.”

McCarthy as SOTH and McConnell as Senate majority leader, and they’re talking about payback?! Ha!

I’ll believe that when i see the democrats being frog marched out of DC! Let me know when they’ve dismantled the Dept of Education. The feds have lost their license to operate in that sphere.

Easy to find all the Biden corruption. Read “Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite” by Peter Schweizer.

Zero chance the Repukes will ever attempt to impeach Biden.

Nothing but talk. They don’t have the will to do it.

Back in 2019 Democrats invented a new game: impeach the president of the opposing party just for the hell if it. Should the GOP take the House in 2022, I suggest that they play the same game.

I call BS in this pipe dream. It will be the same DC GOP swamp two step as in 2016-2018. The only real difference, no Devin Nunes. McCarthy, yeah, right.

Highly likely. And when the Red Wave hits and we retake the House and the Senate, Impeachment is a GIVEN. Not only will they have inspectors up in pedo joe’s and the whore’s cracks (*shudder*) but the bogus 1/6 crap will be dropped once and for all.

The Republicans need to issue subpoenas that authorize anal probes of every demokkkrat in Fedgov. Including, and especially fau-Xi.

If the GOP had 100% control of the House and Senate they still wouldn’t do anything to advance the conservative agenda. The party is simply not what it claims to be.

I’d say go through 3 impeachments but let him stay as President. His incompetent behavior is better for republicans in 2024 than putting in someone else (Kamala)

The GOP can start by kicking Schiff (fabricating evidence) and Swalwell (Chicom spy honey pot) off House committees. That won’t be happening.

Same old promises. Here’s what will happen:

Promises of retribution will be made from the highest soap boxes on Main Street.

Republicans will get a 20-25 seat majority in the house and 52-53 seats in the Senate.

The press will launch a full scale assault on the ‘evilness’ of the GOP.

Republicans will fold like a cheap suit. Trump will be inducted in NYC.

Kickass and take names or get out.

Not in a McCarthy House. It will be "wring hands, have a show hearing, and redact all of the documents."
