Now that Biden's presidency is collapsing due to his complete ineptitude, those NeverTrumpers owe us an explanation for their support of this disaster.
Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. occupies the Oval Office solely because he is not Donald Trump. He has no qualities to recommend him as POTUS beyond that. Arguably, it was the support of NeverTrumpers that provided his margin of victory in the scandal-ridden 2020 election. Now that his presidency is collapsing due to his complete ineptitude, those NeverTrumpers owe us an explanation for their support of this disaster.
Former Reagan speechwriter and prominent NeverTrumper Peggy Noonan indicated that she had broken with President Biden over his voting rights speech in Georgia, June 11, in her January 15 Wall Street Journal column. It would not, I think, be unfair to conclude that with this speech, President Biden has lost Peggy Noonan who wrote, among other things: "The speech itself was aggressive, intemperate, not only offensive, but meant to offend.” Clearly, the speech was intended to provoke former president Trump, with its invidious references to him, references, however, that Ms. Noonan happened to overlook.
To have a sense where Peggy Noonan stands on the issue of Donald J. Trump, two of her many columns on or about Mr. Trump shed some light, I think, on her problem with Trump Derangement Syndrome. There are, as examples, her column extolling the courage of Rep. Liz Cheney, seeing her as facing down her GOP colleague/cowards -- and her July 2021 column attacking President Trump for being "weak and sniveling."

I really enjoyed her book “What I saw at the Revolution” pertaining to her years as a speech writer for Reagan. I’m not sure what happened to her.

She became a part of the establishment elite.
Republicans got caught with their pants down in those battle ground states. It was well known before the election that Zuckerberg was dumping millions into key democratic areas of those states. They did nothing to counteract.
Peggy Noonan is the most insufferable, self satisfied idiots I can think of.

Never Trumpers need to form their own party. We don’t want them back...no one does. And elected ‘never trumpers’? ID them - - then vote them out of office.

I have only seen some of Rubin’s scribblings, so I’ll have to take your word for it, although her rants are epically stupid.
I have seen Noonan on tv, and her whole persona is that of an ivy leaguer who is convinced she’s the smartest in the room, with no real evidence to support her conviction.

Having written for the local newspaper I can tell you that who’s paying the bills and what they want dictates the content. I wanted to write for the editorial page and speak my own mind. The female editor switched into a mother-teaching-her-son tone. “I don’t think you understand. People writing for the editorial page are all specially trained for that role. They’ve gone to college to learn just how to cover those complex issues.”
I could barely write because I was self-censoring so much in order not to offend her. She was laid off and for several months my stuff got published with no editing. I started getting fan mail. Then they made two black women who had just graduated my editors. They edited in some blacklish. I saw how they’d changed my articles and went to talk to them. They said I had no idea how to write but they’d work with me. I quit.
Peggy Noonan is much like that other “conservative” pundit, George Wills.
They wore the label “conservative” because they could earn a living in Washington applying that label. But their allegiance to the principles of the Constitution and the Republic was only skin deep.
Much more important to them was the praise of fellow commentators and media types in the Washington press club.
Before we back a conservative these days, we should rightly ask: what crowd does this guy hang out with after hours?

It was all about getting the fundamental transformation of the USA into North Mexico back on track.
That has been the highest priority bipartisan policy of the last 30 years.
Why is he still endorsing them?
Trump endorsed Romney.
He endorsed McCain.
Trump also endorsed McConnell, Grahamnesty, Tillis, Cornyn, Ernst, Capito, Cassidy, Risch, Rounds, Sasse and Sullivan.
He has endorsed Amnesty Senator Rubio for 2022.
Along with Boozman, Crapo, Grassley and Tim Scott.
We will NEVER Make America Great Again by re-electing Assistant Democrats.
Bush League Republicans still run the RNC and dominate the GOP.
Grahamnesty, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Daines, Crapo, Cramer, Boozman, Scott, Scott, Cassidy, Capito, Fischer, Moran, Lee, Risch, Sullivan, Barasso and Romney are all Bush League Republicans.
Plus the 145 House members that voted for Liz Cheney in Feb.
We need a thorough House and Senate cleaning.
To hell with the NeverTrumpers and their other partners in crime the country club snobbish GOP set. I don’t want them any where near a party I support. Why in God’s name would any party want such a feckless devoid of character and any moral fiber as the NeverTrumpers/country club bottom feeders.
NeverTrumpers and the GOP country club wretches are the type of people who steal from the local stores charity jar on the counter for left over change and donations for the neighborhood kid who has cancer. They are the true scum of American politics.
Perhaps the Never Trumpers should be asked the question posed by Reagan….”Are you better off?” For all the vitriolic hatred heaped on Trump, the country was far better off under Trump. In one year under Biden we have gone from energy independence to begging OPEC for oil, inflation is reaching double digit levels, store shelves areas bare and COVID is running rampant. For all the lies about Trump being a dictator, we are seeing Biden and his cabal imposing tyranny and even advocating internment for the unvaccinated and branding parents who dare challenge school boards as terrorists. Are we better off…should be pretty obvious.
Peggy does seem to have an exceptionally high opinion of herself.
