I sold my house to get out of a Soros county...since the cards would be totally stacked against me if I were to encounter the legal system.

There have been a significant number of decent sized earthquakes in recent months between Tonga and New Zealand that seem to match the graphic in the original post

Was one hell of a huge Phreatic Eruption.

Those are generally one and done events for a time after they happen.

There have been a few in the Mono Lake area of CA in the past.

Tonga has been pre-disastered. This is the time to buy.

“ In contrast to other Pacific Island countries, there is no common ground in Tonga. Tonga practices a somewhat feudal land ownership system. The whole land of Tonga belongs to the King, and therefore the King can grant the nobles and chiefs one or more properties to become their inheritance. Ownership of this property has passed only to male members of the family or clan. Every male over the age of 16 is entitled to 8.25 acres of farmland and a small plot to build his house.

“Foreigners can rent land for up to 99 years, subject to approval by the Cabinet. Owners of property for sale in Tonga can only rent five % of the total area of their property. No land is allowed to be sold.

….

With only 104,000 people, and these restrictions, good luck selling!

At this point, there is neither any way to sell, or any way to leave. If that volcano blows like Krakatoa, everyone on Tonga is dead
