I am very proud of The Godfather, which certainly defined the first third of my creative life,” director Francis Ford Coppola said in a statement. “With this 50th anniversary tribute, I’m especially proud Mario Puzo’s The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone is included, as it captures Mario and my original vision in definitively concluding our epic trilogy.”
“And I’m very really very especially especially proud to know that we can re-release this great film to try to fill theater seats since the current woke dreck has the filmgoers running away in droves. I mean, who wants a female Thor?” quipped Coppola.

With 4K TVs found in most middle class households why would *anyone* set foot in a movie theater?

I wish they’d include the scene where Fabrizio gets his for blowing up Appolonia...BASTARD!

Saw it in a theater when it first came out and many times since. Every minute of it is classic.

Here’s hoping Coppola doesn’t change all the guns to walkie-talkies with this like Steven Spielberg did with “ET.”

Love the first two but how they ever cast that whining liberal biatch Keaton is beyond me. I cringe every time she’s on screen. They couldn’t have blown her up in a car instead of Apollonia?

I'm not a big fan of movies made after Hollywood's Golden Age, but Godfather I and II are classics.
Three - not so much.

NBC once presented the first two Godfather movies, along with the deleted scenes, in chronological order instead of bouncing between 1900 Sicily and 1950s Lake Tahoe. Really made the whole story easier to follow. I wish that were available on DVD somewhere.
