Left-back Alphonso Davies is suffering from a “slight heart muscle inflammation” as he recovers from a Covid infection and will be sidelined for several weeks. Davies has stopped training and is expected to miss a few weeks due to a mild inflammation of the heart after testing positive.

Davies is one of the best Canadian-born players to ever play the sport.

I don’t recall anyone getting myocarditis from Covid in 2020. Since the vaccine, we hear about someone getting it at least every week.

The study that was posted from 2021.

I agree, we didn’t hear about this in 2020. Sounds like more CYA to me (kind of like the new PSA that strokes in children are normal, heart attacks in athletes are normal, etc. it’s all bs)

"During March 2020–January 2021, patients with COVID-19 had nearly 16 times the risk for myocarditis compared with patients who did not have COVID-19, and risk varied by sex and age."

So you believe the LIARS at the CDC?

Yes he has been vaccinated. His primary team is Bayern Munich in Germany. A worldwide powerhouse. They cannot be too happy. I’d guess all players and teams are just waiting to see who is next.

‘All Bayern Munich players and staff members had received their COVID booster shot during the winter break, according to German news outlet’.
after the heart diagnosis.’

“Covid does not cause myocarditis. Covid does not attack the cardiac tissue. The so called vaccine does but the virus does not.”

Apparently, the virus may cause serious cardiac issues, but that doesn’t fit the anti-vaxx narrative:

I am not saying that there is no link between the jab and myocarditis. What I am saying is that your claim that “Covid does not attack the cardiac tissue,” is outright wrong and anti-vaxx propganda.

’Is there any such thing as mild permanent heart damage?’

Actually, in a sense there is. Cardiac muscle does not regenerate, unlike smooth muscle or skeletal muscle which usually does. If the heart is damaged, the electrical impulses will navigate around the dead tissue and the Atriums and Ventricles can still function effectively.

With an EKG, the path of the chemical electricity can be tracked. It is not unusual for evidence of an MI (myocardial infarction, myocardial injury, or myocardial ischemia) being detected and the Patient never even realized that it happened.

There are Bundle Branch Blocks or other ‘injuries’ which can be measured but do not severely restrict a person from continuing activities of daily living.

Exactly. To these statist turds, it is “mild” when it happens to someone else, but when it happens to them, they demand an entire government funded safety net under them.
